It was great
Pros:

The whole pastoral look was great.
We like the place very much. They have to improve a little bit more, not too much the breakfast. The main issue they have is the hot water. Sometimes is scars. And even w that we loved the place.

Damp apartment in poor location with no facilities.
Pros:

Not much. Breakfast was OK.

Cons:

Room was very damp. All our clothes ended up damp. No hot water on arrival. Common area for mixing with other guests non-existent. No evening meals. View from room obstructed by huge tree. Balcony was tiny, no room to sit. Quite far from Santa Elena town (about 6km) so had to pay for taxis to/from town ($20 & 15 mins each way) to get an evening meal/drinks.

Mal acceso
Pros:

El entorno es muy tranquilo, el desayuno está muy bien y el personal es muy agradable.

Cons:

Está bastante lejos de Santa Elena (como 20 minutos) y el camino de acceso es horrible, está sin asfaltar y con muchos badenes, hace que realmente tengas que pensar bien si quieres salir del hotel.
Faltaba algo de limpieza en la habitación, el mobiliario era muy antiguo, las toallas estaban muy desgastadas.

Stunning lakeside setting with exceptional staff
Pros:

• Beautiful Property: The grounds are breathtaking, filled with trees, wildlife, and charming ducks on the lake.
• Excellent Service: The staff was incredibly friendly, taking the time to explain everything and helping us book all our activities.
• Breakfast: A delicious and varied start to the day.
• Nearby Attractions: Conveniently located near the El Tigre waterfall.

Cons:

• Logistics: The lodge is a bit remote and far from Santa Elena. Taxis are expensive, so I recommend staying here only if you have your own transport. Additionally, the breakfast although delicious, can take some time and you might be late for early tours in the natural reserves.
• Dining: There is no on-site restaurant, so ordering food delivery is necessary and comes with an extra surcharge.
• Bedding: Similar to our other stays, the pillows were a bit too large and firm.

Pros:

The view of the hotel is gorgeous with the lake and the ducks , was very pastoral and beautiful.
the room was big and comfortable , and the staff was very nice

Cons:

It’s a bit far from Santa Elena so you need a car to go to the city and if for example you want to eat something at the evening the closest restaurant nearby is 15-20 min drive in a dark mountain road
