Pros:

Mitten im Stonetowm mit einer tollen Dach Terrasse. Ein altes Kaffee Haus mit Zimmern, die ein bisschen in die prunkvolle Vergangenheit der Stadt führen ….Herrlich.

We loved it. It was a first class experience.
Pros:

It felt like an authentic Stone Town experience. The staff, particularly Philomena and Miriam were so friendly and helpful. The views from the rooftop were great!

Cons:

It took time to get used to having the bathroom down the hall but it was very clean and private.

Absolutely LOVED the Zanzibar Coffee House
Pros:

I loved everything about the Zanzibar Coffee House. The building itself is so beautiful! My room was spacious and comfortable. My private bathroom was just down the hall and it was fantastic...wish I could replicate it at my house.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, excellent service. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious.
By far the best coffee I had during my 5 weeks in Africa. The location is very central so there's plenty to see and do within walking distance. I highly recommend staying at the Zanzibar Coffee House! I do hope to return.

A wonderful opportunity to stay in a Stone Town original house
Pros:

The breakfast was great and the location,despite some steep stairs, was exceptional. The staff were excellent

Cons:

I think spraying the room with insect repellent is a good idea, but guests need to be told that they have to stay away from their rooms for at least 20 minutes before it is safe to go back in.

Schönes originelles Hotel in sehr guter Lage
Pros:

Die Lage im Zentrum ist sehr gut. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und nett. Man hat uns ein Taxi vermittelt um weiter zur Küste zu fahren. Die angestellten Frauen haben unsere schweren Koffer auf dem Kopf!!!! die Treppe hoch ins Zimmer gebracht. Die Aussicht auf der Dachterrasse ist sehr schön, das Frühstück sehr gut.

Cons:

Alles war gut. Das Badezimmer war über den Flur zu erreichen, aber nur für unser Zimmer zugänglich. Das war völlig in Ordnung.

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and kind and let me into my room early which was particularly appreciated when I was not feeling that well.

Water was provided in bottles and the breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

The early morning wake up call from the nearby mosque- but im aware this is not the properties fault!! 😊
