Fabulous small country hotel in the far North West of the Scottish Highlands.
Excellent food, service and homely atmosphere delivered by a great team.
Leaving after only one night!!
Delightful hotel, lovely room, whole hotel very clean and tidy, we loved sitting in the lounge chilling after a day of travelling and sightseeing.
Staff lovely and food was top class
A tv in the bedroom would have been nice but it didn’t spoil our stay.

A small room missing some of the features (tv, shower, view etc) that you'd expect at the high price. All was exactly as advertised so no complaints about that, it just didn't really feel like value for money despite the many positives

A truly unique and memorable hotel experience. What stood out most was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, especially the bartender, who made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay.
The hotel has a distinctive character and clearly caters to fishing enthusiasts, which created a very special atmosphere. Many of the guests were anglers, and we enjoyed several interesting and entertaining conversations during our stay.
We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel with personality, great hospitality, and a unique atmosphere.

No TV in Bedroom..
Clean, comfortable, quiet, the staff were amazing,
Only dinner options was a fixed meal: 2 courses £44, 3 courses £55. Bit pricey.
Limited breakfast choices on offer, but it was sufficient and delicious.
Superb hotel with country house feel.

Environnement très calme. Il s'agit d'une fishing lodge donc ambiance très "pêche" à la mouche.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und die Aussicht sehr gut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der kostenlose Parkplatz war optimal. Es wirkte alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Es gab kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad.

Nothing
Scourie is a fantastic location, a gorgeous little cove with a beautiful beech and walks. There is a small campsite just down from the hotel which has a bar and shop and there are a couple of other restaurants.
We didn't eat in the Scourie Hotel restaurant in the evening but the breakfast was superb.
All the staff that we encountered were very good.
There is safe level parking for motorcycles.
The room was quite small, and while not listed in the facilities, there was no TV, seems odd for a 4 star hotel.
The bathroom window of our ground floor room had plain glass which looked out onto the garden. This seemed nice until I realised that access to one of the other rooms was via a path past this window, very odd.
The main complaint with our room was the sound proofing, or rather the lack thereof. I'm pretty sure I could hear the chap next door picking his teeth!
Finally the price, while I appreciate the supply and demand of the area, this is a lot of money for what it is.

Bedroom was nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. There was not TV which isn't a problem for us and there was a DAB radio which was a nice touch. The breakfast room was great - service was good as was the food.
The bathroom was OK ?!?! tiles on the floor were all cracked and the paper in the bathroom was coming away and the ceiling need attention. PITY really
