Poor
Pros:

First room the gave us stank of Cannabis. Moved us to another room. Clearly people smoking cannabis on the floor we were moved to.

Cons:

Cannabis smell. Looks very dated. Door wouldn’t open fully, keys didn’t work.

Pros:

Very nice and friendly staff, good location for seing stuff downtown. The room was good and clean.

Cons:

Quite some noise from the outside during the night, feels like no soundproofing. An adjustable showerhead in the bathroom would be preferable.

Great!
Pros:

Love how well located the hotel was. It is a walking distance from Calgary Tower and CORE Shopping Center (where the Devonian gardens are located). They have a friendly staff and great facilities, temperature in the room was great, room was clean, beds were really comfortable. They store your bags after the checkout, which makes it easier to walk around until the time of leaving the city.

Cons:

Nothing, really liked the stay.

Pros:

The location is great. Check in went very smoothly, and the staff were very helpful - especially when I needed to store my bags before check in, and after check out.

Cons:

I couldn't turn the heat up. I had to sleep in my jumper for extra warmth. Also my hotel room door would not close on its own. I took a shower, and only after that did I realise that the front door wasn't even closed properly.

On point location, great staff, simple no frills hotel for a pleasant stay in Calgary
Pros:

The location was great. It was near the tram station and only a few blocks away from Stephen Avenue. The staff were also very nice! We met a fellow Filipino, Kath, who was always more than happy to answer our questions.

Cons:

The hotel is a bit dated but that's no big deal at all! It had everything one needed to have a pleasant stay in Calgary.
