Safe, comfy pub stay.
Pros:

Everything was quick and easy! The staff was amazing and the area was really nice. I had a lovely meal downstairs and went for a run in the area. Incredible!

Cons:

I actually liked everything. For a stay at a pub, the Criterion was as expected and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Pros:

Enjoyed the view from the balcony of the guest lounge. Chatting to other guests over a cuppa.

Cons:

No fresh air in the room. The window didn't open. I use a CO2 monitor to measure air quality. Even with the air-conditioning on, to try to bring fresh air in, it made no difference.

Plenty of power points and lights in room. Most of these older hotels have very little power points.
Great wi fi as well

Lovely stay in town with shared facilities was very comfortable with great bistro.
Pros:

Room with shared bathroom facilities was very good and all we needed for a comfortable stay right in town! Shower/bathroom were very clean. Restaurant and bar downstairs was excellent, food lovely.

Cons:

Only issue was that there was a DJ/band playing until 1 am. (on the Saturday night) which we did not know about but apparently staff should have informed us. We would stay again on another night!

Fun and convenient
Pros:

The stay was great. There was an 18 th disco party going on which we were informed about and was not an issue hence I can’t say it was quiet! It was very good.
