I only stayed 3 days -too noisy
I only stayed 3 days- traffic, train, and the next room was way to noisy
I slipped on the ice and fell in the parking lot , hurting my back when i informed the staff they shrugged at me and said it wasn't their problem.
Rooms weren’t to bad
Property had a lot of homeless around it was advertised as ocean view but there was a row of homeless people’s tents in front of it!! Hotel doesn’t allow smoking on balcony but ton of sketchy people outside.
Check in and check out were quick, breakfast was bonus. ..balcony was good...
Aircondittion was portable so loud and not working so good....
The place is a dump. Lots of things not working. Room service was like paying roulette. Were you going to get towels today? Who knows?
No much
All the drug addicts and homeless people poping in and out of the place. I know Anchorage has a big problem with this ,but I never stayed in this part of the city. I did not know it was like that there. Definitely not a place to go on business or take a family. And Definitely won't recommend the place.
nice people
Dirty
Both front desk people were very nice and informative. Shuttle driver was nice too!
The only thing that I liked about this property is that they provided complimentary shuttle service from the airport.
The property was not clean at all. The check-in process was very disorganized. The staff seemed confused about what they were doing. None of the staff members were dressed professionally. The chairs in the lobby are all badly stained. While we were waiting at the check-in counter, a woman walked up and informed the staff that the key that they had just given her was to someone else's room. She had walked in one someone in the room. Very unsafe. The tv in our room did not work. A staff member showed up to try to fix it to no avail. The furniture and flooring was badly worn. My son opened our curtains to check out the view and there is a large homeless encampment located directly behind the hotel. The people in the encampment were fought and cursed loudly all night and there was more of the same in the morning. The bathroom was not clean either. The complimentary continental breakfast was served by someone who looked like one of the homeless people from the encampment. He told us not to throw away the Dixie cups that contained the waffle batter, as he reuses them. Very unsanitary. We just stuck to the whole fruit. There is no way that I would stay there again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
The price
Room was cold. I needed to take the blanket off the other bed to be warm.
The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were warm and reasonably clean. The price was right.
I booked 2 rooms, one was great all the way around. The other, the bathroom seemed unfinished. Like they had started remodeling and didn't finish. There were no full size towels, the shower was entirely handicapped accessible(no mounted shower head), and the faucet came off in my hand.
