Great staff, solid mattress.
Pros:

Friendly professional welcome from Reina who went above and beyond in sorting our room. Lovely decor and good to see the hotel being refurbished. Excellent staff in the Bloomsbury bar, with a very nice breakfast.

Cons:

Mattress incredibly hard. Not a good night's sleep at all. Dust across some wooden panelling in the bedroom.

Room was dirty, mugs hadn’t been replaced and glasses. They had stains on both. Staff also rushed us out of breakfast at exactly 11:00.

Polite and helpful staff, everywhere was clean and fresh. The location was excellent for theatre , restaurants and shopping

Cons:

The large bath towels were on the small side. I am a small person and I found them too small, so if you were a larger person they would be tiny.Not a crucial thing really.
