It was a little expensive

The room was not available by the stated time of 3pm despite being told it would be and then saying they did not know when it would be, and we needed to get ready for an afternoon concert. Several other people were in the same position. Had to argue until a room provided. Booking.com stated our room had Air Conditioning, however staff told us no Air Conditioning in the hotel rooms (this was the heatwave weekend in London 36 Degrees) - there was a fan and a portable air con unit in the room which was broken. Maintenance emptied the water and it came on - it then never worked the rest of the day/evening and was told Maintenance were no longer available - so the room was roasting. The premium room is not great but clean but carpets look very old, but had to walk into the bathroom sideways as so small. There are zero plugs near the beds, they were all by the tv area only. Overly expensive and hot stay for one night. Hotel lobby did have Air Con by the way but even the lifts to the rooms were roasting. Hotel is clean, location is great but the small rooms and lack of air con is not ideal for warmer months of the year. Was very glad to leave and unlikely to stay here ever again.

check in was 3pm I arrived just before 3 and had to wait quite a while until around 3.40 pm as my room wasn’t ready, as I was attending the festival I was quite disappointed as i needed to be back out for 3.30 which I wasn’t able to do
When I got to the room it wasn’t clean like you would expect the bathroom was ok but the room itself wasn’t very nice - also the plug sockets under the desk I wouldn’t use - one of them is actually coming off the wall completely the other one won’t let you even get a plug in so that left only one working, overall I was disappointed with the stay and thought the price was extremely high and for my room to also not be ready but they charge £100 for early check in I found was quite unprofessional I’m not sure I would stay again unfortunately

The room was very noisy being on the front of the hotel & having a portable air con unit that was vented through the window meant that we heard noise all through the night that prevented us from sleeping. Carpets are tired & stained.

Booked a twin room, tried to give us a double which we declined. Ended up with two single rooms which where tiny.

Advertised as air con rooms but it was turned off. Bar closed early. Poor service at breakfast and plates not cleared from tables quickly.

No air con in a £300 room. I know its London but I expected air-conditioning! Just a fan to push the hot air around.Not their fault it was a heatwave. Small room, it would have been unbearable for 2 people staying in that heat - fortunately it was too hot for OH to trave.

No surface to put things on in the bedroom or bathroom.

Scrambled eggs almost cold. I was told to get milk from the coffee machine for my cereal. Lovely if you like hot milk on bran flakes!

That the AC was not turned on.

Das Zimmer hatte zwar A/C die allerdings nicht eingeschaltet sondern durch einen Ventilator ersetzt wurde. Angesichts der hohen Temperaturen >35 Grad C waren die Bedingungen unerträglich. Die Bitte das Zimmer zu wechseln wurde mit ‚ausgebucht‘ und ‚wir werben nicht mit A/C Ausstattung‘ beantwortet. Bei Preisen von 300 GBP ist das auch in der Lage inakzeptabel.
