Categories

Cleanliness
6.5
Mixed reports: several guests note generally clean rooms, but there is a specific complaint about visible dust, a pistachio on the floor and less-than-ideal housekeeping on arrival, lowering the score.
Service
9.5
Consistently praised: very friendly, helpful and welcoming family/owners; flexible with breakfast times and helpful with guest needs (fan provided, local advice).
Location
9
Very positive: described as a prime, central location with the town centre within walking distance and a good base for activities in the Eifel.
Room Quality
8
Generally comfortable and nicely furnished rooms with good beds and some spacious bathrooms, but some guests reported small rooms, worn mattresses and flat pillows in certain rooms.
Amenities
8.5
Good basic amenities: coffee corner, guest bar/snack and drink self-service, motorcycle/bike garage and the option of a key-safe check-in; some limitations (no full restaurant service).
Value for Money
8.5
Viewed as good value by guests: several comments explicitly state price-performance is fair and the hotel functions well as a B&B for short stays.
Food and Beverage
9
Strong positive consensus: breakfast repeatedly described as very good, plentiful and well-served; dining area described as elegant.
Overall Experience
9
Overall very favorable: family-run, charming historic building with modern touches, guests would rebook and recommend despite isolated negatives (parking, occasional cleanliness/staff brusqueness).

Pros:

Was fehlte konnte bestellt werden.
