Nice hotel
I dont feel like I should be paying. Almost $300 a night to take out my own trash and towels. Wasn’t able to get extra blankets or pillows. Check in staff was a little rude and unhelpful
This is our second time staying at this Staybridge location as we find it to be ideal for visiting family in the Detroit metro and Flint areas. It is also situated behind a Holiday Inn and therefore does not get as much road noise at night.
The suite was very big with a separate bedroom. The bed was large and comfortable.
The man working the desk in the afternoons/evenings was always upbeat and fun to talk to.
We weren’t sure of the housekeeping situation but they came by almost everyday we put our magnet out!
We noticed the room is showing more wear since our last visit (in 2021) which is understandable. However, it seems the cleaning in the room stays very surface level and many areas are overlooked (ex: white stains on side of desk). This gives the room a bit of a grimy feel.
We always showed up to the breakfast area at least a half hour before it closed but there were always things out of stock. This often included fruit as well as the biscuits and gravy (which made me extra sad because the breakfast lady promised it would be there on our last morning, however, it clearly was never set out).
The air conditioning unit is set up in the bedroom so can be noisy at night.
Also, very weird but for the first few nights of our stay we woke up to an empty Pokémon box for trading cards outside our door. We would throw it away but it would make its way back to our room.
The location was great, right on the main road, but still tucked away so that it felt private. The breakfast was very good, the yogurt bar was a great addition! We are also pretty impressed with how big the rooms all were.
I wish the hotel had a shuttle that could bring you to Pine Knob.
Every staff member and the manager I met, were personable, helpful, courteous, and professional. They are a cut above many places I have stayed in my life of travels. In this day and age, where no one seems to understand the meaning of Customer Service, they were exceptional. As a sidelight, the food there is exceptional, including breakfast. If I’m in Auburn Hills again, I will stay there.
Our room and the property were clean and comfortable. The evening social and breakfast had lots of options and felt very fresh. We had the opportunity to meet the General Manager, Amy and she was great! Thanks for the amazing stay!
It’s a clean hotel with great decor it’s a quiet place to relax the pool area is nice I appreciate the FREE FREE FREE washer and dryer that’s a huge help while traveling

This place is amazing !large suites - reasonably priced - clean has a pool a social hour and a complimentary laundry what !!!! Yes all that and Alvin and Brianna at the front desk are friendly, personable and helpful !!! I travel 2 to 3 weeks out of every month and this was a pleasant surprise!
Alvin was AMAZING!!! Helped us access our priority account- gave dining suggestion that was so good we went back! We will be back next year-Wendy in breakfast area was also very personal and thoughtful.

A very good place to stay for business travelers and families alike. It is a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing environment, perfect for enjoying your time or vacation. They offer a delicious breakfast and dinner as well. The friendly and welcoming staff, including the manager Amy, who personally talks to guests and assists with any issues, make the stay even more enjoyable. Thanks to the entire team! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great, big room!
You had to be let into the pool area by staff, and everytime you would walk out to the bathroom someone would have to let you back in. Your hotel let did not work for the pool area.
For a one bedroom suite, the layout was strange since the bedroom was tucked in the bedroom and had to be shared with any visitors. Also, bad smell in the suite everytime we came in. Maybe a bad cleaning product?
