The Perfect Getaway Site
Pros:

The location of OHI is absolutely perfect to enjoy memorable days and nights in Ocracoke. Overlooking Silver Lake, you can observe the "flavors" of the island:: gentle breezes, seagulls, fishing boats, ferries, walkers, golf cart riders, beautiful sunsets, and the overall quietness that exists from sundown to dawn. OHI is immaculately clean and well-maintained. My wife and I have come to this location for over 30 years. There is absolutely nothing not to like!

When we can afford it, it is the best price for all it delivers!!! Doubtful we’d ever stay anywhere else as a couple.

Fantastic Easter weekend
Pros:

Another incredible Easter weekend trip on Ocracoke. It’s the 3rd in a row staying with the Harbor Inn and the 3rd different cottage. All are meticulously maintained, fresh, clean and well equipped! My family absolutely loves this trip each year and has a great appreciation for the Harbor Inn!!

Definitely stay again if the price of the room runs a deal.
Pros:

It was a great location, super clean, friendly staff, room looked like recent remodel of flooring and furniture, balcony on floor one had a nice view of Silver Lake, an option to rent bikes and golf carts, and a pier in front with chairs.

Pros:

It was a wonder place all the way around. Unfortunately, we arrived after dark and before light, we were at Howard's watching Duke get embarrassed by UCON.

Cons:

Leaving, we wish we could have stayed but we had a ferry to catch!

Great location and balcony!
Pros:

Lovely quick visit to Ocracoke and stay here at the Ocracoke Harbor Inn. The room (202) was very clean and nice. We made good use of the balcony overlooking the harbor. The complimentary breakfast, while basic, was great for a quick eat before heading out. The staff was very friendly and we appreciated their advice to bring bug spray for our Springer Point walk! The location is the best part, easy to walk to all harbor restaurants and the sunset was beautiful.

Love the Treasure Chest cottage!
Pros:

My husband and I stayed at the Treasure Chest cottage. We loved the cottage. Perfect for two people. We loved the screen porch. Perfect for having wine and watching the sunset. We were so pleased with the cottage. I highly recommend any couple to stay there.

Wir waren zum 5 mal dort und es ist jedes mal sofort Urlaub. Check in einfach und schnell, die Zimmer sauber und hell.Die Lage ist top, besser geht nicht. Eine entspannte Lage mit Blick aufs Wasser, mit tollen Sitzgelegenheiten, buchbaren Golfcars, unkomplizierten Frühstück! Einfach perfekt!

Cons:

Es könnte ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer sein und eine gemütlichere Bettdecke. Aber das hat dem Aufenthalt nicht annährend beeinträchtig.

Great place and super location in the harbor.
Pros:

This was a very neat, clean place to stay, and I was amazed at the supply of towels in the bathroom.

The Inn is kept up well and it shows.

Location convenient (about 10 minutes) for catching the ferry. Pleasant places to eat breakfast nearby.
