The staff made up for the fact the hotel building is a bit dated. Very clean, fantastic breakfast, close to Serpong train station and newer/modern Aeon Mall BSD City. Special thanks to Yudi, Edy, Dina, Asya and Rahmat and the rest of the staff that I didn't get names. Very professional and well managed. Thank you for 6 nights, would book again.
Very satisfied
I visit Indonesia on a regular basis now because I have a fiancé and plan to retire there soon. The routine is to meet my gal in Jakarta, spend a few days then travel around before returning to Jakarta for a few more before I depart. This is the first time I rebooked the same place because we did like it there. I realized that I had over booked by 1 day and asked for a refund on 1 day but they declined. I would have understood if it was during peak season, but it wasn’t and they were not really inconvenienced.
I would have made the refund as a gesture of good will, knowing the value of good customer service. I am not saying that I won’t return but if there is a choice to be made, I will remember. It’s a good hotel but I think they could rethink policy considering customer loyalty.
Good quality for the price but improvments are required. Paint needs to be redone on the walls, bathroom is so tiny for the size of that room. A little bigger would have been great since our room was quite big.
The Junior suite was pretty decent, but too expensive (~$50 per night).
*** Positive *** Always diligently delivering cutlery when needed. Always friendly over the phone. Room was spacious, except the bathroom. Sheets felt clean. No stale smells in the room.
*** Negative *** Some of the young cleaning staff cleaned in a lazy way (skipping half the floor, including very dirty area under the bed). Forgot to change floor mats multiple times until I made an issue out of it. Tiny shower cubicle. Staff do no speak English (well). Windows do not close well, so even though you are on a high floor, you can still hear loud noises from outside.
