Awesome oasis in the middle of town. Ratan Villas have paid attention to detail with a beautiful hotel. The staff are truly awesome too. The room was spacious and comfy with an amazing bathroom likewise.

Only ate at the hotel and all the meals were excellent.

Ratan Vilas in Jodhpur was an exceptional choice for my parents’ stay, exceeding expectations in every way. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with a serene, heritage charm that feels both authentic and luxurious. What truly stood out was the impeccable hospitality—every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort, showing genuine warmth and attention to detail. The service was thoughtful without ever being intrusive, creating a truly relaxed experience. The food was outstanding, with each meal thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. From start to finish, the experience felt personalized and memorable. It is rare to find a place that balances elegance and heartfelt service so effortlessly. I would highly recommend Ratan Vilas to anyone visiting Jodhpur.

This hotel has mastered hospitality to such a degree that the owners should be reviewing me, not the other way around. I travel a lot, and as the world's hotel standards, especially at the five star level have steadily declined, treating visitors more like commodities than guests, Ratan Vilas stands in stark contrast. Nothing feels packaged or designed to create an impression that is not backed up with substance. Everything is genuine and comes from the heart and as a guest you feel it. This hotel has been run by a family for generations, it has personality and soul, and it is place you simply want to be.

I spent two nights at the Ratan Vilas Hotel in Jodhpur, as part of a private tour of Rajasthan. It was certainly the best hotel experience while in India, a compliment to Brijrat and his family, who own this wonderful property, and manage it with warmth and high standards. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and quiet. The food offerings were excellent, and many suited my preferences for non-spicy items. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Most importantly, the staff is extremely professional, always there to assist, and with good English skills. It was a great base to explore the sights of Jodhpur, and I only wish that I could have spent more time there.

Ratan Vilas has been one of our favourite places that we have stayed at, anywhere in the world.

It is a beautiful, serene and historic property that is meticulously maintained and loved by the owners.

The entire staff are warm and friend and create a wonderful experience to compliment the amazing ambience of the hotel.

We rarely eat 'on property' when we are on vacation, but the delicious food and service on offer at Ratan Vilas seduced us into multiple visits to the restaurant.

The lovely owners are so immersed in this property and mingle freely with the guests and we greatly enjoyed our conversations with them and listening to the beautiful stories of their life at this oasis of calm.

I spent 5 nights at Ratan Vilas and highly recommend this beautiful place. The host and the staff made our stay very comfortable. The rooms are excellent. Cleanliness tops the list. Food is great. Breakfast was a well thought wide spread. Every member of the staff was very humble and well trained.

Absolutely perfect hotel. Worth every penny and more. It has character, class and the service is the best ever. Nothing is too much trouble your every wish anticipated but the staff manage to remain in the background. Would stay here for ever.

The property is an attractive sandstone art deco period structure just off the main strip of a busy Jodphur. The beautiful bedrooms are clean and well appointed and bathroom with deep set granate bath a luxury to enjoy. Dinner with live music under the stars was delicious and lovely. Thanks to the staff for a great 2 night stay.

Set back from the main road and a short tul tuk ride from the heart of the old town Ratan Villas is peaceful base to explore Jodphur from. The architecture is stunning and oozes history and the rooms and gardens immaculately looked after. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good and the live music on the days we stayed provided by a particularly accomplished traditional musician.

The building is visually stunning with beautiful well kept gardens and a quiet pool area
The hotel inside is furnished with antiques and quality comfortable furniture and their attention to detail is wonderful
Our room was immaculately clean with quality bedding and soft furnishings
