Very overwhelming and not restful

Beautiful grounds and antiques

Cons:

Shower area was poorly planned with no proper demarcation with wet and dry, rooms were over decorated with antiques and poorly maintained with unclean furnishings. Heritage property with no respect for maintaining heritage items. Food and service at dining was terrible, overcrowded, unhygienic with flies, poorly cooked and served. We were not told there would be a marriage celebration happening outside our room at the time of check in. Seems to be designed for western tour groups who are easily impressed and looking for an ‘Indian’ experience.

J’espère y revenir ! Un hôtel musée plein de charme. A refaire !
Pros:

Cet hôtel est magnifique ! Très grand. C est plus qu’un hôtel , ça vaut la peine d’y consacrer un peu de temps même en circuit. Il y a du charme , de l’histoire . Un bel accueil en anglais compréhensible , un petit massage des pieds, un collier de fleur, un verre de bienvenue, une sublime piscine ( faut enlever un peu plus les feuilles etc). Ambiance zen et d’un passé révolu.

Service aux petits soins.
Vaste propriété ! Jardin, différents blocs avec différentes chambres.
Musique live agréable le soir.
Notre chambre était jolie, style ancien comme souhaité. J espère y revenir.
Il ne semble pas fréquenté par des familles ace enfants donc c’est assez calme et agréable
Tout nous a semblé propre !
Il y a plein de petits animaux dans le domaine ( écureuils, oiseaux, grenouilles, chèvres .. ) génial !

Cons:

Quelques détails qui font que ça mérite presque un 10 .. ( disons 9,5)
Repas du soir sous forme de buffet. On a bien mangé mais j’aurais préféré choisir à la carte. Choix de boissons limité.
La salle de bain n’est pas top. C est ancien certes mais là ça manque de charme, de netteté par rapport à tout le reste de l’hôtel.
Nous aurions aimé rester plus de temps et aussi profiter du spa pour un massage avec le beau masseur souriant et sympa mais prix un peu trop élevés ( même pour un hôtel).

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

Breakfast was good. I wished there was a-la-carte option for dinner. However, the staff was very accommodative and allowed us to be charged only for what we ate at the buffet.

Cons:

The only room for improvement would be that the exhibits carry a little more explanation.

Definitely a great place to stay and visit the Chola belt.

My disappointing stay at Indeco
Pros:

Great concept, intent, location staff

Cons:

- poor food quality. Not tasty at all.. They attributed it to all 23 rooms being full.
- Towels in the room werr old, discolored ( i am paying 10k per night- room 208
- soaps were of cheap quality( we take our soap anyway)
- the furniture were uncomfortable to sit. Utility loat for antique looks

Pros:

Very unique experience. You can spend a couple of days just exploring the property. The small stream with fishes, authentic chettinad palace rooms to agraharams. There is so much to walk around and loose yourself in

Cons:

Breakfast spread was great but Lunch could be better. It felt like food you get at home when your mom is angry..

Pros:

Rooms were so comfortable and beautiful. So spacious. We were group of 10 friends came to visit swami malai temple. We enjoyed having bath in pumpset. Breakfast spread was excellent. All the staffs were so friendly.

Indeco certainly resonates positive vibrations, every moment of our stay was joyful.
Pros:

Superb hotel in a very ancient holy location. The facilities are truly star rated. The staff are well trained and friendly. They love their work and took really good care of us. We asked for packed dinner for our train journey. They went out of the way to prepare a hygenically packed takeaway set that we really enjoyed in the train.

Cons:

Can't think of any. Our experience was perfect.
