UB Grand Hotel

Compared with Novetel which is 200m further, this hotel is not really suitable for travellers who do not speak the local language as majority of the counter staff do not speak nor understand English.

It is not certainly suitable for business travellers who need to leave early to beat the terrible traffic as although officially its breakfast starts at 7.30am, which is already quite late, throughout my weeklong stay, I never got to eat there as each time when I took the lift to 17th floor, at 7.30, 7.40 and 7.45, the door was chain-locked. What a waste of money to include breakfast.

The bath room though relatively large, was not maintained well. The floor is easily wet and water remains there due to uneven leveling towards the drainage. Those who stay on high floor like 15 may experience water pressure issue from the shower head.

It's terrible experience stay in here. First night, the room was facing the square, the view is good, but it was really noise in the morning. you can't sleep in that kind condition. Then they let me move to the other room which facing the other side. But it was some kind party or night club over there. And the music was really load. And it was keep going until 3-4 AM. Really terrible.

Loved everything except the room was very hot without Aircon and the Aircon was even at the lowest setting made the room cold , again just a small gripe for an overall pleasant experience.

モンゴルのホテルとして、設備、サーヴィス、朝食のメニューは普通だと思う。部屋は清潔だった。ホテルの周辺の利便性は抜群で、買い物、食事には最適である。チンギス・ハーン博物館が近いこともよかった。

Fue muy mala la comunicación con el personal. No avisaron de que no funcionaba el wifi y cuando lo solucionaron se iba constantemente. No respetaron el horario del desayuno. Hacían un cambio de moneda como les parecía, con la sensación de ser timado. Experiencia poco agradable.

everything was closeby.

The property is in a great location, the main lobby is not the best ( hiring someone to remodel it would do much to improve first impression) the rooms are good size and condition, the cleaning is a hit or miss we got one bed fixed one day and the other not, towels changed some times.

Hotel in the heart of the city. Frendly staff. The food was so tasty.
Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Eigentlich ganz gut. Lage Fußläufig zur Innenstadt. Matratze mir zu hart.Zimmer sehr gut Heizbar mit Thermostate zum drehen. Am Handwaschbecken, wasserhahn kommt kaum Wasser. Aber dafür 2 Duschen.Für unsere Gedanken nicht nachvollziehbar.
Frühstück sehr Mongolien lastig.

Perfect location to explore Ulaanbaatar or to start your trip through Mongolia. Very good rooms with a grand view, best beds we had within three weeks, yummy breakfast (partly European, partly Mongolian), neat bar and an exceptional restaurant for dinner hours. Very nice and caring hotel manager and allover very good service. Thanks!

The UB Grand Hotel has an excellent central location mid in the heart of UB city, has a wonderful Chinese Restaurant in the upper most floor with a fantastic view on the city and nice coffee shop in the 1st floor/reception. The breakfast is standard, the rooms clean and functional and the staff always engaged to fulfil the wishes of the guests. I can recommend this location expressively.

チェックイン時、予約者に名前がなかった。
空室があったからことなきを得たが、もし、繁忙期ならどうなっていたかと思うと怖い。

Room floor was dirty. Considering it is in Mongolia, it is acceptable.

트윈 베드 룸으로 예약했는데, 더블베드로 배정하고 배째라네요. 가족이 아니라 단체 여행인데 정말 난감했습니다. 따져 물어도 바꿔줄 방이 남아 있지 않다고 하고 끝이네요. 수압이 약해서 물도 찔찔찔. 주위에 나이트 클럽이 있는지 새벽 5시까지 시끄러운 음악소리에 편히 잘 수 없었습니다.
9시 체크아웃인데 일요일이라고 조식은 8시부터 시작이고, 게다가 음식은 9시가 다 되어서야 제대로 나왔습니다. 다시 가고 싶지 않은 호텔이었어요.

위치만좋고 청결과조식은 너무안좋다

Choose this because of Central location in ulaanbaatar But room was very compact not functional. Service was also poor, very basic breakfast staff not hpfull at all key also did work sns has to go to reception.need water at room

The hotel is located right in the canter of the city. But you might face some problems with the parking lot.
There is a Coffee shop, Lounge, and nice restaurant in the building.
Rooms are clean

Very tiny and compact rooms, no good service- very basic breakfast at 2nd nd top floor- no helpful staff only the plus point is central location requested for upgrade but some how not reflected in the reservation, plenty of options around
