Pleasant hotel with excellent staff.
Pros:

The location was excellent - right in the middle of the Gaslamp District. The room (suite) was nicely appropriated. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

ホテルの部屋がとても良くて、本当に寛ぐことができました。素敵なお部屋でした。
ベッドメイキングも清潔に整えて下さり快適でした。水筒にお水を用意して下さり配慮を感じました。
サンディエゴに来た時には、宿泊したいホテルです。窓からの風景からアメリカを感じることが出来ました。

Cons:

フロントの応対が今一つです。アルバイトの人が多い印象で、到着した時にはおしゃべりをしていて、ホテルの受付としては良くない印象です。
週末は賑やかなので、落ち着かないですね。

As a traveling single person, I could not have been happier with the price, location and needs.
Pros:

Great location for price. If you want to be in the middle of the night life, this was an excellent location. Building itself was quiet. Yes, it was noisy outside, but that should be expected given its location in the Gaslamp district. Usually old building creak and knock and groan throughout, especially the water pipes. There was none of this. I was most impressed with the water pressure of the shower. Most old buildings and low, terrible pressure. The pressure was amazing. I was also expecting to see a lot more homeless people, but it was very good around the entrance. Yes, there were some a block or two away, but the property itself was good.

Cons:

I would like to have been able to stay out on the rooftop patio later than 11pm. It was enjoyable to watch the city at night and to watch to partgoers below flood the streets. That doesn't really start happening til after 11pm. I also would have liked to see some vending machine choices in the rooftop kitchen area....snacks, fruit, sandwiches, drinks. So you could grab a snack and watch the city.

Pros:

Merry at the front desk was exceptionally kind. Upgraded us at check in for free! The vibe of the hotel is awesome, with lots of historical pictures of Gaslamp everywhere. It was so clean and cute. Also, super affordable. I will 100% be staying here again.

Wonderful experience, I will definitely stay in this hotel in my next trip to San Diego
Pros:

Everything was perfect. I loved the location because it was near the places I planned to visit during my trip, the facility was very nice a bit old but with a contemporary atmosphere, clean and cozy. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, especially Merry at the front desk, she’s AMAZING.

La struttura offre un servizio di parcheggio a pagamento molto utile è un servizio di vigilanza

Cons:

La struttura è molto datata, con porte trasparenti oscurate da tende. L’arrendamento è molto antico, anche il bagno. La signora della reception ci ha fatto fare un upgrade delle camere che inizialmente era gratis e poi come magia l’aggiunta di prezzo è stata levata dalla mia carta. Elemento pessimo è la posizione della struttura che, benché sia in centro, è situata accanto ad una strada piena di locali notturni che rimangono aperti fino alle 2.30 inoltrate (non considerando il tempo in cui ci stavano le urla della gente mezza ubriaca e macchine ad alta velocità ). Le finestre non sono per niente insonorizzate quindi sono stata sveglia fino alle 3 e mezza di notte. Probabilmente sarò stata sfortunata il ad andare di venerdì sera, ma veramente non lo suggerirei a nessuno.

Comfortable, well appointed stay in a classic turn of the century building with excellent staff!
Pros:

Did not have breakfast. There was a restaurant in the building in the ground floor but it was not clear how to access it. It's was unnecessary though given the amount of restaurants adjacent to the hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful: front desk, valet, and housekeeping. They were super fast with all requests. The suite was large, classic, well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The windows and view were wonderful. The bathroom was roomy, with tiles and marble, and instant hot water. The a/c was quick to cool. No noise could be heard from other rooms.

Cons:

It is near a busy street in the Gaslamp Quarter and therefore prone to street noise. This was understood prior to arrival and so it was not a bother.
