Muy oscuro falta luz
De rust van de bergen en het uitzicht, de ontspannen sfeer, de gezelligheid van het restaurant en andere gasten het heerlijke eten en de aanwezigheid van Maika, het lekkere zwembad op warme dagen, de waanzinnig mooie omgeving. Het klopte allemaal.
We verbleven een paar dagen en rekenden niet dagelijks de maaltijden en drankjes af. Enerzijds een voordeel, anderzijds heb je weinig zicht op je uiteindelijke kosten.
Wat een geweldige plek, super gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen. Unieke kamers, zeer geriefelijk en een huiselijke sfeer. Oh en een ontbijt a la carte, waar zie je dat nog?
En dan het uitzicht! Het kan zo op de voorpagina van een reisgids!

El sitio es espectacular, pero la calidad humana de Maika y los suyos es inigualable.

Best food I’ve had in northern Spain and I’ve been here 4 weeks so far. It’s a bit of a trip but well worth it assuming you have access to a car

The location is a Shangri-la with a breathtaking panorama. I was welcomed as if coming home. The staff was super sweet, and provided all I could want. I really hope to return here. Do try the mussels!
Lovely hotel with a fantastic host (who is very helpful) but too far away from anywhere with limited transportation. Taxis to bilbao will cost around €100.
Very happy with my stay. Lovely spacious room, with outstanding scenery and Maika the host was helpful in every way. Only stayed a few nights but will plan to return with my partner

Extremly friendly approach by the host, brilliant place to stay, home made jams at breakfast. Set in an amazing location.
The owner Maika is very nice and helpful. the house is carefully renovated and has its own personality. we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool and garden due to the bad weather but we really appreciated the large window in the dining room with a splendid view of the valley. there is a veranda and you can park outside. we appreciated the details, the paintings on the walls and the relax/reading room. prices are honest. we had dinner (the menu has a lot of choice) and this is very convenient because the valley is not very urbanized. We also ate well at breakfast. there is a free water dispenser. our room was decorated in African style and there was a nice atmosphere.
in our room the bathroom was connected (without a door) which can be annoying due to noises and smells. the soft lights gave atmosphere but we would have needed stronger lights for reading. we heard noises from the next room and the people chatting on the veranda under our window interfered with our rest.
