Hyatt Regency Suites Atlanta Northwest

Awesome area and hotel. It is a hidden gem and not far from Pappadeaux’s! I would recommend and will most definitely stay again. Thanks for the warm welcome from check-in/out staff.

Loved the overall experience! We had a great time looking at the views. The body wash in the shower smelled amazing and the check in process was a breeze. I loved the view of the pool and the added security at night, for guests to use their cards after a certain time to open the main doors.

The location was good with access to a nice Papadeaux eatery close by. The atmosphere of the hotel was nice; especially the pool and garden area which is magical and peaceful. This is an older hotel, but it has been extensively renovated. The area is urban and it is easy to miss the entry which is up a steep hill to the entry one you turn in. Rooms are very large with a small refrigerator that worked to keep things very cold. Our room was a true one bedroom suite at 650 square feet which was excellent. The hotel lobby, dining and bar area, hallways, gym and our room were all a good value and clean. We had no noise issues at all, found the bed to be comfortable, and the bathroom was of good size. Our tub was a bit older looking, but clean with a great shower and soap dispensers with shampoo and conditioner (all full). The service was as good as it gets - excellent in all respects from the Bellman to the check-in staff, to housekeeping and to the dining/bar staff. We did not eat any meals or use the bar. Coffee service was fantastic and began at 6 AM. Pet friendly and our Boston Terrier was treated like a king. I found ample places to walk him. While the dog area on site was small, I walked down the wood steps along the entry road and into an adjacent multi-use commercial building and wa able to walk the dog extensively in their parking lot and along small landscaped areas. From there I could connect to a few other buildings. The area was empty early mornings which was perfect. The gym was in good condition with only one of the several wieght units being non-functional. It is a full gym in relatively good condition. The standout here was the staff which was without exception excellent! The only reason for the 4-star rating was the air conditioning. The hotel seemed a bit warmer and more humid than most, and our room air conditioner seemed a bit underpowered. We turned the thermostat down to 68 which helped greatly, but the unit had a problem with condensation and a small accumulation of moisture on the floor alongside the bedroom wall vent. We did not see that until our last evening (we stayed for 3 days), and when reported to the staff the morning of our departure, they were very attentive and had an engineer on site to investigate the problem once we had checked out.

Cleanliness , and how big the rooms were

I am leaving a 5 star review despite some issues because the staff were wonderful. This hotel is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Our room was cleaned every day during our stay. On the second night we did experience some ants in the bedroom and our headboard which caused us to need to leave the room for a night, however the staff worked quickly to put us in another room for the night and we were comped for the inconvenience. We were allowed back into our room the following day after they fixed the issue and there were no other issues after that with ants. The other downfall during our stay was that the pool was dirty the one time we were able to use it which was understandable, it had been raining a few days before, but then the pool completely closed for the remainder of our stay which put a damper on things because the pool was a huge reason why we booked this hotel. Despite this, I give the hotel 5 stars because again, the staff was amazing and worked quickly to assure us that we can stay in our room as well as comped us for that night. The hotel also is very beautiful and very clean and everything is near especially Truist park, which has a beautiful view from the hotel. Thank you again to all the staff here for making our stay as best as it could be despite some hiccups.

Convenient to stadium

Great location to Truist Park. We did uber just because it was so hot. The rooms were clean and the price was good. The pool could have used a little attention as it was a bit cloudy but that could have been from the recent rain and heat. The restaurant was clean and we had breakfast there that was a normal breakfast what you would get at a mid range priced hotel. That night the apparantly the cook walked out during the after dinner rush,

So my advice would be either pay more and stay somewhere nicer, or pay less and save some money. By the pictures & reviews I thought this place looked amazing. Not so, it was average and overpriced. The pillows had a faint smell of dirty laundry and were flat, the pool was disgusting, the air didn’t work like it should and didn’t stay as cool as we wanted, and they charged us $72 for parking. Yes…they charge their hotel guests to park in their hotel parking lot! Besides the extra $200 I had to ask about which I was told was a security fee that supposedly is refunded although I haven’t received it back yet. When I called, they said it could take a week to show back up. Trust me, this place was not worth the money we spent! Should have stayed at the Holiday Inn!!!

I always feel at home when I come to this Hyatt Regency. Glenda was a joy as she assisted with the check in process. It’s a pleasure to see such wonderful customer service with so much division in our world. This is an excellent location, although I could not get an upgrade, I still enjoyed my room and this hotel. Thanks as always Hyatt!

Room was spacious and clean.

Spacious rooms. Very clean. Staff was very cordial. Wife would have loved this if she had been with me. I bragged about the quality and asthetics of the room to her.

Spacious newly renovated suites. Nice gym. Good location. Free laundry machines on the 7th floor. Great Kbbq spot across the street.

Newly renovated hotel that is right Down the street from Pappasito’s Mexican Cantina and a short drive to the baseball stadium. Lovely stay on a nice side of Atlanta. Being on the north side, made traveling north in the morning virtually traffic free.

The rooms layout was great. The view was beautiful. The hotel always looked and smelled clean.
