De ligging was perfect voor ons, omdat we wilden fietsen langs de Baldeney See en de Villa Hügel wilden bezoeken. Het was jammer dat er geen restaurant was in het hotel, maar er waren twee perfecte restaurants op een paar kilometer rijden: de Südtiroler Stube aan het meer, en Zur heimlichen Liebe. Echt Duits: niet duur, wel veel en lekker.

Cons:

Als je het geen probleem vindt dat er geen restaurant is, is dit een heel fijn hotel. Je kunt het ongezellig vinden, omdat er bij aankomst niemand is. 's Morgens bij het ontbijt is er wel personeel, en het ontbijt is uitstekend.

Perfekt
Pros:

Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Möglichkeit sich Kaffee und Tee im Eingangsbereich zuzubereiten. Die Zimmer sind schön und komfortabel.
Das Lola liegt fussläufig zur Rüttenscheiderstrasse und nah am Baldeneysee und unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig.

Wir haben das Frühstück gebucht. Selten hatte ich in einem Hotel so eine grosse Auswahl und so eine hohe Qualität an Zutaten.
Der Self-check-in am Nachmittag war sehr unkompliziert und die Mitarbeiter am morgen super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Kommunikation per Mail vorab ist perfekt.

Danke, dass es noch so schöne Unterkünfte gibt.

Klein aber fein
Pros:

Kleines Hotel mit Superfrühstück, nett, adrett und sauber. Obwohl ab 15:00 Uhr alles "automatisch" ohne Personal ist, war alles gut und einfach. Ruhige Lage mit Parkplatz.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Flair
Pros:

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal - war hier mit meinem sechs Monate alten Sohn zu Gast und wir wurden ganz liebevoll umsorgt und auch auf kurzfristige Wünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Lage ist toll und schön ruhig. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls super lecker und besonders. ❤️Ich kann das Lola jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Alles perfekt und die Lage des Hotels eignet sich auch sehr gut zum Erkunden des Ruhrgebiets per Fahrrad.
Pros:

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Cons:

Die Fotos unter Booking.com spiegeln nicht unbedingt den sehr guten Eindruck von sowohl Innen, als auch Außen wieder.

Pros:

Das Haus ist schön, die Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet.

Cons:

Ich kann mich noch nicht wirklich an die Umpersönlichkeiit des Self-Check-In gewöhnen. Die Menschlichkeit geht verloren. Wir haben keinen einzigen Angestellten gesehen, da wir auch ohne Frühstück gebucht hatten.
