Village Hotel

Fantastic location, plenty of parking and the bed was comfy. Outside of that, the customer service wasn't great and the room was kind of gross - stains on the bedding and curtains, random screws in the shower, furniture held together with tape, and tea/coffee spilled on the walls

Nice property with a restaurant with very good food and reasonable prices. Especially breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in process was easy. Rooms due need a little updating. Overall good stay & I Would book again.

Hotel has the ability to be much better but staff fell short of the mark on several occasions. Dining room/bar manager did nothing to control patrons who were clearly regulars and intoxicated. Loud and obnoxious outside at closing time, etc. building and room was fine but windows did not open and room was to warm and stuffy.

This is a charming hotel with a nice restaurant. Parking is convenient, bed was comfortable. We had a big problem with noise. Our neighbor was talking loudly with guests and laughing until about 3 AM and we could hear it very well to the point it was difficult to sleep. I asked the front desk person to look into this about 1:30 and he told me that he called the room but neither of us in the room heard the phone ring and nothing changed. I talked to the desk person again about an hour later and shortly after that the noise settled - close to 3 AM. In the morning you could easily hear people in the corridor - it didn't help that our room were close to the elevator. I would advise that you ask for a room away from the elevator, and hope that you have quiet neighbors. On my way to the front desk I met another guest who was also going to speak with the front desk about noise coming from people talking on patio in front of the hotel at about 1:30 AM. Also if your room is on the first floor, you can hear the thump thump of the bass from the live music in the restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays, but that finished at 11:30 so wasn't a huge bother.

This was a last minute booking due to a change in our plans. Turned out to be a great fit for our trip! Easy to get to, very clean room, great food and atmosphere and best of all, wonderful staff!! Extremely friendly, helpful and responsive.

Restaurant & food were excellent.

Very friendly staff. Room very clean, with iron, ironing board, hairdryer, kettle & tea/coffee/milk packs. Bed and bedding very comfortable.

Bath was shower only, ad the taps had been removed. Not sure why, but shower was very nice, powerful, easy to adjust, plenty of hot water.

Great hospitality, the bedroom was large, well equipped, en suite was lovely.
The food was amazing!
The staff couldn’t have tried harder.

Nice hôtel with confortable room nicely finished but room overlooking parking lot. Very noisy till late because of people being loud outside. We were tired After a long day driving and had to wear ear plugs to find sleep.
No ac in room.
Eggs at breakfast overcooked.
But nice and friendly staff.

In general the Hotel was OK-good. In a great location for what I was doing. Carpets in my room were not great. Staff was friendly and helpful enough when you could find them.

Party going on downstairs but couldn’t hear any of it. Comfortable bed, great nights sleep. Breakfast unfortunately wasn’t served until 11 which was too late.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Da es an einem Samstag war, wurde bis relativ spät abends noch "Party" gemacht, das hat uns aber wenig ausgemacht.
Bett sehr bequem, Zimmer schön groß.
Parkplatz direkt am Hotel.
Für einen Zwischenstopp gut geeignet.
Der Strand von Bettystown ist auch sehr schön... 😊

Lovely property, clean, comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful especially Sue on reception, she gave us a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Breakfast was gorgeous. We would highly recommend this property and it is within easy access to Drogheda.
