Alexanders Landing

Room #2 was well appointed and clean. We were unable to access the pool due to large number of people who spent the entire evening yelling, throwing each other around the pool. I was visiting from Colorado. This was a chance to get together with my family, who lives in the area, and celebrate a birthday. When I left the deck for a few minutes to go to my room, other visitors chased my 3 teenaged nieces and nephews off the deck, questioning their right to play corn hole there. We were not informed, in any way, about use of water toys on the premises. This is not a venue that is handicapped accessible in any way.

It was the previous owners. Not the current. The accommodations were not as listed. Very, very, rough. The new owners were excellent. Can't blame them. But geez. The listing was completely misleading. I hope the owners clean it up.

Cons-only five parking spots, the next spot says reserved for the next hotel. Then they have the audacity to email you saying they’re not responsible if your car gets towed. I conveniently got that email within 30 minutes of us returning to the hotel and parked.
-Con don’t recommend first floor, you can hear every footstep on the second floor.
-Con The freaking door did not lock. Zero safety, I took a video, but I don’t believe I can post it. Wasn’t that worried being that it was wintertime, but if there were people walking everywhere, absolutely not.

-Pro if you’re going to Indiana Beach, you can’t get closer
-Pro the room was absolutely beautiful super clean

The property is all steps. Hot tub wasn’t working.

Great set up with a nice indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. It was lovely and I would highly recommend.

It was awful. We were on the highway searching for a room due to them renting our room out to us and someone else!!!

The area was nice, the room was small but cute. However, the floors clearly had not been cleaned in a long time because they caused our feet to turn black from dirt, and the floor was also very sticky. If you are going to charge $25 if a guest doesn't take out the trash because it is time consuming for the room cleaners (I'm guessing), then you would at least expect the floors to be clean. Other than that, the room was clean. The water in the shower was freezing cold (not exciting). Also, before you book the property, it says that there is free parking on site. It was not until after I had already paid for the room did I receive a message saying that there was very limited parking, and we would have to park "right up the hill" in a grassy lot. It was not right up the hill. It was about an 8 minute walk up a steep hill from the room to the parking lot. My mom has recently had back surgery, and this would have been a great thing to know about before we had already paid for the room. You should definitely state this before guests have already paid the nonrefundable price.

The location and setting was great. Only complaint was we were in room 7 and room 6 was an adjoining room. We could hear EVERYTHING and even kinda peak through the door and I assume they could hear us?? I wear earplugs to sleep so not that bad. The location and view were AMAZING! If o get the chance to come back I would still take 7 despite room 6

I love this stay. I stayed last summer, and would honestly say, of all the traveling I do, Alexander's Landing is a favorite. This last stay, in November was different and all related to the temperature of the room. The temp is controlled by the Nest system under lock and key. We were hot, uncomfortable sleeping hot. Since we were there for two nights, I requested that it get turned down or off. Get this, the same Nest controls 3 units. Although very gracious, our request was denied, because the guests in the next unit had a small child in their party. Besides that, Alexander's Landing is Awesome! Excellent bed and linens, sweet little kitchen, and off the lake access.

Room was very small but very clean and several amenities that i didn't use. Room was COLD and temperature controlled by management. NO thermostat in the room. Only one light switch in main portion of room and it was located just inside entrance door. No light switch near bed. TV reception very intermittent. No phone and you were required to take whatever trash you may have to dumpster when leaving or be charged and extra fee. I would give 2 stars out of 5!!

Air conditioning is linked to all units so even if your air is on, if any of the other 3 units has turned theirs off, yours won’t work either. It looks like you should be able to but you can’t. I called about it after wasting 20 minutes messing with it. It took them several hours to come by and when they arrived they knocked and then immediately unlocked the door and barged in (I literally didn’t even have time to walk across the room to the door) to ask if we were the unit that had turned the air off. I had just gotten out of the shower and the baby was napping. Very unpleasantly surprised by this spot.

We were in room 2 and it was nice, clean and convenient. However, the noise from the people above us was soooooooo bad. Also the sofa bed was ridiculously uncomfortable.

Hi, me and my kids had a fantastic stay here. If you are looking for a cozy spot to hang out with friends and family this is hotel your looking for! The fun watercrafts were a bonus and there were free life vests. And the fact that we could walk to Indiana State Beach was another bonus! But the parking was a bit inconvenient. Me and my family would totally stay here again! 8/10

The good parts: very clean wich is most important. Now the rest: Dish TV went out after watching for 10 minutes, never came back on. Nice containers for Shampoo and Body Wash, but they were empty. Several light bulbs not working. Other than that, all was good

I loved how you could swim in the lake and use the boats previded with free life vests. It also is right next to indianna beach.
