Santa Barbara Inn

The staff was amazing. Our valet, TJ went the extra mile in service. Nevis our bartender was super friendly. All encounters with staff was so pleasant. Please let TJ know Mr & Mrs Mitchell especially enjoyed our stay because of him.

We had a great stay at Santa Barbara Inn. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and in a good location. Everyone was friendly and professional.
We enjoyed the heated pool and relaxing by the lobby fire pit in the evenings. The on-site restaurant, Convivio, was excellent, with delicious food and a great variety of options.

A special thank you to Courtney at Convivio. She was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and easy to talk to. Her genuine kindness and outstanding customer service made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The rates were a bit on the higher side, especially over a holiday weekend, but that was expected. In the end, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and overall experience made it feel worth the cost.

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Santa Barbara Inn to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent experience all around. The staff at the front desk, the valet crew & restaurant staff were awesome! Great location, nice rooms and breakfast was top notch. Definitely going back!

Nice property. View from patio of the ocean was wonderful. Only concern was that our room (201) was right above the kitchen and some smells permeated our room and we could hear the clanking of dirty dishes. Staff was excellent. Great room size and large bathroom.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic location and excellent restaurant!

A fantastic hotel in Santa Barbara! On our arrival the guys in Valet service took our car and assured us the bags would be taken to our room after check in
At the check in desk we were told our room wasn’t ready ( we were 3 hours early!!) but he gave us a card that allowed us access to the pool. He also explained dining and bar location.
When our room was ready our bags were delivered as promised.
The room was beautiful with a magnificent view directly on to the seafront and balcony to sit out of an evening to watch the word go by.
Every member of staff we dealt with were happy, positive and a credit to the hotel.
All in all our brief 2 day stay ended our California road trip perfectly.

Wonderful stay and in a perfect location. Absolutely loved the balcony overlooking the ocean and the size of the rooms were perfect for a family of 4. Would highly recommend for a beautiful Santa Barbara getaway!

My families stay at the Harbor View Inn, Santa Barbara was perfect and a great value! The location made it easy to walk to the best restaurants, shops, and the beach. Noise from the street did not reach our room on the third floor. The Inn is beautiful inside and out. Our room and bath was clean and spacious, the beds, pillows and sheets comfortable. Great sleep was had! I especially liked the robes left for our use. My family and I enjoyed the balcony, and the ability to sit outside, just breathe in the atmosphere for a quiet moment. The Inn’s grounds are lovely, the pool and hot tub are well kept, lounge chairs and towels provided. The Inn staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. A huge shout out to Cameron at the front desk who answered all my questions patiently. I look forward to another visit to Santa Barbara with my family.

After a long day of travel, we checked in at 9:20 pm. We asked if that was the restaurant/bar behind the desk and the hotel person said yes. We took our bags to our room and then headed to the bar. There were two empty seats at the bar. We sat down at 9:31 and the bartender said she was closed. There were 3 other patrons to our right and two to our left. They were all chatty and having libations. Taking pity on us, the bartender said she would serve us beer or wine even though we wanted hard spirits. She filled our order then said we had to leave the bar because they were closed. The fire pit outside was shut off as well so our only choice was the lobby or our room. We’ve never heard of a hotel bar closing this early, especially when it had paying customers eager to drink.

I went to the lobby the next morning to share my frustration and was told the bar/restaurant had been contracted out to a third party. Hours of operation need to be renovated.

I also hoped to get some complimentary coffee in the morning - it was 8:35 am and much to my chagrin, they stopped serving that at 8:30 am. Seems early to stop the coffee.

Communication and customer service is not valued at this establishment .

The room was nice and quiet and the amenities were included .

We had thought to spend two nights but decided their schedules were not conducive to our needs .

Comfortable bed, very good location of the hotel, breakfast was very good and overall professional and friendly staff, including the valet. Good size room. Bed a little too soft for our taste and the bedroom linens could use an update. But overall satisfied with our stay to this beautiful town and the surrounding area.

We loved the size of the hotel, its proximity to the beach and the fabulous Convivo restaurant.
