The outside grounds. Staff was nice.
Charge for parking. Restaurant was like a nice cafeteria. Beds were too soft. Interior was a bunch of long hallways. Locations forced travel by car to other restaurants, etc. Overnight price way too expensive for what was offered.
It was across the street from the ocean. Beautiful view!
It was very irritatng to have to go down to the lobby to get coffee in the morning! Every other hotel I know has coffee makers in the room! I just went down with my bathrobe, my hair mess, but I didn’t care because that’s what they’re forcing us to do, so that’s what they’re going to get. We had a family reunion there and I found out that if you booked directly with the hotel, you got $25 credit towards breakfast in the restaurant. But on Booking.com, I was told that is not included. For such an expensive hotel, you would think that you would at least have a buffet breakfast. But no,You have to order off the menu. I was told that the restaurant was trying to force your attendance to buy there.

The valet was nice and helpful. The server at the restaurant Convivo for our lunch was good.
THE DISGUSTING MUSTY & MILDEW SMELL IN OUR OLD DATED ROOM WAS AWFUL. We left with headaches from the smell and had to wash everything that was brought into the hotel as the smell permeated everything. The furniture, furnishings, bedding, pillows - all of it had the musty mildewy smell.

Wonderful four night stay at the chic and comfortable SBI. Our Ocean View room was quiet and comfortable. We spent time every morning on the balcony enjoying the south facing view of the Pacific. Very professional and accommodating staff, from the front desk to housekeeping. The excellent on-site restaurant Convivo has a great reputation with SB locals and we enjoyed lunch and breakfast there. Congrats to the SBI team for running a truly excellent establishment.
Our stay at the Santa Barbara Inn was truly unforgettable, highlighted by an incredible location that left a lasting impression on us. There is something so special about the atmosphere there that we’re already dreaming of our return. Next time, we hope to settle in for at least a full week to fully soak in everything this beautiful property has to offer.
Perfect location. No car needed; we could walk or Uber anywhere. Attentive, responsive staff. Lovely restaurant. Friendly and fun valet staff were full of great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. For us, this place was the perfect balance between casual and upscale without being stuffy or pretentious. Loved our oceanviee room.

The Santa Barbara Inn was an absolute treat! The decor was so charming, the bedding was super comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed, and the view! We ate both breakfast and lunch in the restaurant on the patio, and every bite was scrumptious! Thank you for a perfect stay!
Ein wunderschönes Hotel direkt am Strand.
Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Altstadt von Santa Barbara ist zu Fuß (am Strand entlang) oder Rad und/oder Taxi/Uber in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Alle weiteren Ausflüge sind von hier aus perfekt zu starten.
Das gastronomische Angebot im Hotel (ob Frühstück oder Abendessen) ist fantastisch.
Die Servicekräfte bei Ankunft, Check-In, Restaurant oder Poolbereich sind sehr freundlich, immer hilfsbereit und bei Wünschen sehr schnell.
Der Pool ist super schön, mit ausreichend Liegen und ebenfalls einem guten gastronomischen Angebot. Selbst vom Pool aus ist der Strand zu sehen.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wunderbar eingerichtet und wurde täglich top gereinigt.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Hotel nur jedem empfehlen.

It's a beautiful, classic hotel with upgrades that make it modern and clean. We didn't go to the pool or spa but I love that there's that option. Everyone is very kind and hospitable. Even the valet team was helpful and supportive. Location is perfect if you want to be close to state street, but far enough that it's calm and clean. Partial ocean view was perfect.

Nice hotel. Right next to the beach. Good restaurant on site. General Manager was extremely helpful when we had some issues about the room. Housekeeping staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and take care of your needs. We would definitely stay here again.
