We had a wonderful stay at La Quinta! The hotel and our room were very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, which was much appreciated after a long day. The location is great, with plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby depending on what you're in the mood for. The pool was clean, refreshing, and a great place to relax. Breakfast also had a nice variety of options, so there was something for everyone. Most importantly, the staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again. For reference, we stayed 4 nights.
The only minor thing that could have been better was the fountains in the pool. They weren't working during our stay, which would have been a nice extra touch, especially for the kids. Definitely not something that negatively impacted our stay, though!
I loved how clean and new it was. The location was great for the area. Wasnt far from any stores or restaurants.

The hotel's lobby and rooms are immaculate. I was greeted with a smile and promptness, greatly appreciated after driving 1,300 miles. A great location off the highway, surrounded with gas stations. My room was clean and comfortable. Will use again.

The beds and the overall feel of the room
Very clean and we appreciated that you allowed cats. We were moving from New York to Florida and needed a place we could have our pets too.

The front desk clerk overcharged us for the pet fee
And the pet fee wasn’t explained to us until after we got our bill
We booked on Booking.com and we got to the facility. He said the room was exactly the price of Booking.com. He didn’t say there was an additional fee for the dogs.
And then he overcharged us.
My husband is still talking to them about the overcharge of $50, $25 per pet

Don't stay at a laquinta. The staff will steal from you. Bad experience. Will never stay at a laquinta again. Bad experience.

The reservationist was nice and pleasant when I entered.
The breakfast was very skimpy. My room’s foyer light was not connected, and the lights next to the bed could only be turned on if you were standing up. They did not clean my room! I was shocked when I came back after being gone all day, and the bed was not made, nor towels left on the floor replaced with fresh hand towels. One of my face washcloths had a big hole in it. I really don’t want to stay there again. It was too pricey for what you don’t get. Then had the nerve to ask for a tip. What are you tipping for if no one cleans your room or empties the trash?

Check in was ridiculous. We had signed in ahead of time, entered all our documentation in an UNKNOWN site, then arrived to be told "yes, we don't use that." We had to wait 30mins in line at check-in. We had to fill in 3 sets of information: computer, I-Pad, credit card scanner. We had been driving for 14 hours, had a pet, expected to just walk in and get a key. We requested, ahead of time, a room with no carpet. Our room had old, frayed carpet and the box spring looked liked it had been chewed upon. The lady ahead of us had 4 people and had also signed in ahead of time (as had most people in line). She had requested a couch. When asked if she had a couch the front desk said "I don't know, the shift ahead of me assigned the rooms." She came back while we were still checking in and said "no couch." Front desk said "well, do you have a chair?" We tried to get a snack: were told "we don't take cash, you can't credit to your room AND the credit card machine isn't working." Breakfast was very lean, all table tops were dirty. This used to be our regular stop but no more. P.S. We ARE Wyndham members.
