Recommendation/best value for money
Pros:

Very pleasant stay during our short trip to Budapest by train. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who arrives at Budapest-Nyugati. The hotel is very well equipped, tidy, has a working AC and the breakfast is delicious with a vast variety of different things. The personal is friendly and helpful. If you arrive early or have to leave late, you will find a locker room for your luggage. All in all a bang for the buck and a recommendation.

Unfortunately, a disappointing stay despite the great location
Pros:

The location of the hotel is phenomenal. The room is small, but the bed is comfortable, which was the most important thing for me. The breakfast was also good.

Cons:

Unfortunately, this was my third stay at this hotel, and the level of service has drastically declined compared to my previous two stays.
First, when I checked in, the receptionist didn’t even know that I was a returning guest. While this could easily have been overlooked, what was much more disappointing was the room I was given. I was assigned a room overlooking the “restaurant,” which was dark, received almost no natural sunlight, and had a view I found extremely unpleasant. This had a significant impact on my overall stay.
My check-in was at 11:15 a.m., and I was asked to pay an additional €30 because the standard check-in time is 3 p.m. I understand that early check-in may come with an additional charge, and I was prepared to accept that. However, given that this was my third stay and that the hotel has four floors and many rooms, I expected a little more consideration for a returning guest. Instead, I was given one of the least appealing rooms, which made me question whether loyal guests are actually valued.
The decline in the breakfast service was also noticeable. The plates are now extremely small and are essentially dessert plates, while the coffee cups are significantly smaller than they were during my previous stays. It is difficult not to get the impression that the hotel is trying to reduce costs, but unfortunately, it is doing so in areas that directly affect the guest experience.
It is disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in quality and service compared to my previous stays. Hotels should be especially attentive to returning guests, not make them feel like their loyalty is irrelevant.
I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because if the current level of service continues, I don’t see how the hotel will retain its returning guests.
As for me, unfortunately, under these circumstances, I do not believe I will return.

Pobyt w Budapeszcie
Pros:

Polecam ten hotel szczególnie osobom udającym się do Budapesztu pociągiem z Warszawy. Po wyjściu z dworca wystarczy praktycznie przejść przez pasy na drugą stronę ulicy, Sam pokój bardzo komfortowy i na plus to, że mimo lokalizacji przy głównej ulicy i dworca to jest bardzo cicho w pokoju i nie słychać hałasu. Pokój posiadał też klimatyzację. Śniadania bardzo dobre, urozmaicone, personel bardzo miły i pomocny.

Nie było takiej rzeczy.

Pros:

The room is nice and renovated, I really enjoyed the space. The location is super nice, there are grocery shops near, including lidl and spar, a mcdonald's and bus and train station. you can take a connecting bus late in the night in order to get to another bus in a central location which will take you to the airport. The staff was sweet and attentive.

Cons:

It may sound a bit pedantic but the tile work in the bathroom, especially in the shower is horrendous... It really ruined the vibe of a nicely renovated room... I also did not enjoy the price I got because of booking last minute but oh well, that's business for you i guess:)
