The Hotel at Falcon lake

It was just okay but given the lack of options, it works.

We like the clearliness, the new carpet in the room. The backyard was amazing. What was missing for us was no table and only one chair.

The front desk agent was super friendly, engaging and helpful. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and at ease after a long day of travel! Room is comfortable and clean and has a great set up.

Food at restaurant is amazing

the hotel is nicely renovated, however the bathroom doors need to be changed from barn doors to regular doors…no privacy with barn doors at all. Had to go to private bathroom in pool area. Also, mattresses need to be changed, all of us had sore lower backs. The staff were all great!!

We spent the September long weekend here and found the staff consistently warm, friendly and very accommodating. The property and it's nearly beachside location was charming and convenient. We were pleasantly surprised by the many little touches throughout like complimentary coffee and infused waters in the lobby to the large backyard games area. The sauna wasn't operating which was disappointing but we took full advantage of the steam and the small gym area. This is a lovely getaway location not too far from the city and surrounded by all that Falcon Lake has to offer. I highly recommend. We will be back!

The staff at the front desk had issues dealing properly with problems That occurred with coffee in the room when addressed the staff at the front desk had attitude issues with my request to get things settled and properly addressed

Enjoyed my stay at Falcon Lake, super clean and friendly staff. There were more renovations done since we came here last year. The backyard was so nice and lots to do including a fire pit for s'mores, bocci ball, darts, corn in a hole. We even got to adopt a friendly fish for our stay. The beach/ grocery store/ bakery/ restos are all close. Totally had a great time and hope to come back soon!

Great stay with friendly staff. We were very happy to be allowed early check- in. My husband has parkinsons and needed to rest. Beds are comfortable. We loved the “ Back yard” with many recreation options like bocce ball, corn hole, horseshoes, ladderball, darts, axe throw and cozy fire pits. Very nice steam room/ pool area as well. Would highly recommend!

The customer service was very friendly and welcoming. I had a great conversation with each person at the front counter. The pool and steam room were great to stop at first. The backyard is a perfect place to spend the late evening to play outdoor games, which leads right into the lounge when you want to wind down. The room was clean and comfy. Overall, a great visit.

During our stay, we were disappointed to find that both the steam room and sauna were out of service, and the outdoor hot tub/sauna area was not yet open. The hotel restaurant also fell short of expectations, as dining options were limited to a small section due to traveling with minors. Additionally, the advertised s’mores snack boxes were unavailable, which was another letdown. Overall, these factors made the experience less enjoyable than anticipated.

On a positive note, the front desk staff member who checked us in was outstanding—patient, kind, and engaging with our children, who had countless questions. The kids also thoroughly enjoyed the unique experience of “babysitting” fish during our stay. We booked a pontoon boat ride as well, which turned out to be a highlight. The captain was personable, professional, and truly made the experience memorable.

What a beautiful spot. First time there and my kids and I loved it! Very welcoming, quiet and lots to do! Highlights include evening bonfires in The Backyard, games in The Backyard, delicious meals at 1964, clean and modern hotel room with our own patio door and the heated floors in the bathroom!! We will be back!
