The pool was relaxing and they changed our room to a wider room space when they saw I was in a wheelchair.
I enjoyed my stay, but we ordered a taxi from reception, and that taxi ripped us off. I let reception know and showed receipts, but I felt that he wasn't going to go through with it because he didn't take my receipt, so how would he know how much I got ripped off? It was $40 from the hotel to the river cruises—we could've walked, but I'm in a wheelchair. I don't think they should use that company.

Parking across the road is expensive and rubbish
Such a great location in Melbourne, with cute bars, lots of restaurants and good shopping just out the door. Handy to trams to see further afield.
2 bedroom suite is a great layout with 2 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a comfortable living area.
We were in one of the older suites, which I remember being much the same 25 years ago! It probably is due for a facelift, with a manky dishwasher and poor water pressure in bathroom 2.
However it suited our group fine and is perfect for families and friends groups. I thought it was good value for money and the beds were very comfortable.
Reception staff were so friendly and gave us great dining recommendations.

The size of the rooms were terrific and bed was comfortable. Pillows we always struggle with but had no issue with those provided. Room was clean and presented lovely. Lobby staff were helpful when we were loading our bags on the trolleys and offered to bring up for us which was great.
Check in took quite a while once at the counter. Dishwasher was extremely loud and could do with an upgrade. Kitchen is a little dated and bathroom grouting not what I would expect from a Stamford hotel but served the purpose. Wardrobe door scraped on floor as needs adjusting. All not major issues and didn't let it dampen our stay, just things we noticed.
