Great stay—definitely retuning
Pros:

Great location in regard to accessibility of ease and parking. Front desk staff were as friendly and welcoming as the many reviews before me report, as were the rest of the staff. Rooms are a bit dated, but that wasn’t a concern for us. We love a cold room. Finding a hotel with adequate AC is always difficult for us, but Double tree by Hilton didn’t disappoint. Because of the cooler temperatures, comfy beds, and cleanliness of the room we had an incredible sleep. Having to travel 8 hrs to Toronto every three months for medical treatment isn’t fun, after two years I think we’ve finally found our permanent hotel.

Pros:

We had an excellent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Toronto. The location is fantastic — very close to the Eaton Centre and in a lively, buzzing area with plenty going on nearby.

Our room was clean and comfortable, with two double beds which worked really well for us. It was also very quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. The temperature control in the room worked perfectly too — easy to keep it warm when needed and nice and cool when returning after being out.

The swimming pool was a nice bonus and a good place to relax and have a swim. In a few spots it looked slightly grubby, but overall it was still enjoyable.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay. We were welcomed with the famous DoubleTree cookies when we checked in, which was a lovely touch. At the end of our trip our flight wasn’t until later in the evening, and Ryan kindly organised a late checkout for us, which was extremely helpful, and he even gave us some extra cookies for the journey.

Overall, a great hotel in a brilliant location. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again.
