the ac unit was very loud and rumbles and when it stops you can hear the traffic like the door was open and the fridge didn't cool my drinks

Could have been exceptional.
Pros:

Floor was cleaner than many budget hotels and air didn't smell. I couldn't really hear the highway even though I was on the second floor by the road. Check-in was fast and staff was friendly. Location was mostly convenient and there were things to do and places to buy some vegan groceries within a thirty minute walk.

Cons:

I'm very conflicted about this review because I had a pretty good trip. The room was missing toilet paper, a tp holder, tissues, trash bin and shower curtain. I reported this because I was worried they'd think I took stuff. I wasn't really concerned about it that much except until I saw the shower curtain, so I reported the things a second time and the friendly lady said they'd fix it. Nothing was changed though when I returned that day. Still not really a problem. The biggest issue was the noise. The A/C/heater unit can't be shut off and if one wants heat, it's even louder. I had earplugs still one needs to put a heavy shirt over their head and be overly tired. It really dried the air out considerably. There were also lots of other noises from the guests. Thumps, door slamming, cars with subwoofers going off erratically at weird hours. That was surprising because I was worried about the highway noise when I first checked in. However once I shut the door, that noise was mostly gone. A different hotel cancelled my booking in Orlando which is how I ended up here last minute for Swampcon, so I was happy to have a good trip and people in Gainesville are super-friendly.

I didn't not enjoy my stay. It's dirty, the food sucks, and they didn't want to accommodate me.
Pros:

Overall the staff was pretty friendly. But the Continental breakfast is not so continental, and could be better. The rooms are awful! Sheets are not being changed, wallpaper and paint is coming off the wall, the bathroom is terrible, and so dirty. No phone in the room I hated my stay! I will never recommend!

Great value!
Pros:

Great stuff, incredible value. We just needed a place to crush for the night on the way home. Baymont did a great job.

Beyond disgusting
Pros:

Hard to screw up a waffle I made myself. Didn't see any live bugs in my room.

Cons:

The water was disgusting. Undrinkable, couldn't even use the ice. It tasted heavily of metal or chlorine. My skin felt horrible after the shower. The damp moldy smell was so bad that I was sick for 2 days after staying there. The 3rd floor smells like beer and various smoked products.
