The staff was really friendly and nice.
Water was coming under the floor after flushing the toilet.
The breakfast was good, waffles and eggs are always a good choice at a motel! The breakfast room was small, but the number of people in it wasn't large either. It was good just to have a motel room not far from where my mother's graveside burial service would be, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, on Feb 15th. And it wasn't far from where my other family members were staying at another motel.
There were not many places where we could charge our iphone devices or ear pods overnight. Usually a motel has a charging outlet for such things on the tables beside the bed, often even built into the bedside lamp or the table itself or a wall unit. It's nice to have my phone beside the bed in case I need to use it during the night without having to get up and walk over to the desk where it is charging. I don't want to wake up enough to do all that! Anyway, it's a convenience thing. Having a working charging outlet near the bed.
The location
The noisy noisy train and I e machine noise we believe was in the hallway that kept us up all night. Wet horrible noise
The bed were good and we sleep good. The breakfast was good also. They had free cookies and lemon water to grab when we check in.
I stay again
Places to eat less then 5 mile drive
There was a dirty qtip in our room half way under the night stand. That was nasty and my sister boy complain
And the pools heated was closed due to off season but that’s fine
You will miss the turn if you are not paying attention turn in at the Mad Hatter coffee shop or you will have to go up and turn back around. The hotel was really hot, all the hallway units were turned on high and heat when it was like 80 degrees out. The hallways smelled like animal and the room was worse. I had to clean it like my own house with pet carpet powder, vacuum and sprayed Febreeze. The vacuum they let me use was burning rubber belt. The room was large but just not up to the quality we prefer. The hotel staff tried to get into our room in the morning and you would think once you tried and couldn't get the door open you wouldn't keep just banging it open. What a horrible jump scare. Also if you are in the area there are two with similar names and using GPS you can wind up at the wrong one. If you go out any of the side doors in the back near the pool you can't get back in and have to walk all the way around. Couldn't get the room cool enough. The windows were a little sketchy and hard to open but needed to to air the room out. Had to talk with Choice Customer Service to get my points back because I was promised them by hotel staff, thankful customer service honored it and refunded my points.
Room was not ready upon arrival. Very limited’breakfast’. Lots of outside noise from the train and parking lot. Tv cable was in op….
