Our room was very small, but that is not unusual for Paris. Good location and adequate accommodations.
Location is central but the hotel is surely not 3 star.
Pros
Central
Cons
Storage of luggage unguarded, rooms really need an upgrade, decor seemed patched up, various screws on wall show previous things installed but not patched, jacuzzi bath had better days, broken toilet seat.
Thankfully it was 1 night stopover
Room was clean and comfortable. This hotel was within walking distance to Notre Dame. It was right in the city close to many options for food and shopping. Our adult son was with us so we chose a "Triple Room" which allowed us all to stay together.
Maybe this place is okay since it’s near the Louvre. But it’s not pleasant, especially if you have a child with you, because it’s dirty and cramped. The floor looks like they don’t even clean it you wouldn’t want to step on it! it’s carpeted, but you can clearly see how filthy it is. I was forced to walk around the room with my shoes on my gosh! It was so noisy and dark inside the room. The bathroom was dirty! There was a bathtub, but you wouldn’t want to soak in it because it didn’t seem clean. It was so super hot inside that we had to open the window in winter time but then it smelled like smoke, and the noise got even worse just terrible. I can only imagine what their kitchen is like. It really didn’t feel worth the price.
The property pictures must have been taken over 10 years ago and do not represent actual condition of hotel.
This hotel needs a complete remodel. Carpets are worn and dirty. Walls need painting. Furniture needs to be either replaced or refinished. And bathrooms were disgusting , broken tile, mold around tub. Broken hair dyer and outlets that did not work.
Now location of property is great. Nice neighborhood with shops and many restaurants. Walking distance from all major tourist attractions .
So cosy
The staff and location were great.
Property had a little too much charm for me. Room had no Wi-Fi or internet so speak of.
Enjoyed the location and the nice breakfast. Great staff and well preserved facilities
Great stay at the Tonic Hotel. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. Great location.
We did have rubbish under the bed when we arrived in the room but beds were comfortable and loved the ceiling
Would recommend
The heater of the room is too hot.
Nuestra primera ves en Paris y nos encantó la localidad, el servicio y la atención de sus empleados.
Great location. Easy to get to from the airport. Short walk to many desired places to visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was in a nice area near the Louvre museum. The front desk staff was excellent. The bartender was excellent. The person attending the breakfast was not. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Charming.
Good ubicación
The hotel was close to the train station and the shopping area.
The staff was amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Please note there is no laundry service. Our double room was so small, the bathroom door could only open partially. But we really enjoyed the staff and do not regret staying there.
The front desk was very friendly & helpful. The room appeared clean, but upon closer look the curtains were quite filthy and when I picked up something that Thad dropped on the floor I could see splattered coffee all over the wall under the desk.
Polite and helpful staff
We booked a “superior” room. On arrival the staff were very friendly. We went on up to our room and to our dismay the room did not match the description posted on Wotif, it was very rundown.
The widow in our room out looked an outside area (if you can call it that) which was accessible to anyone, and the large window (double doors) were not able to lock from inside our room.
The bathroom was in dire need of repair, the hand basin wouldn't drain. The support and wall underneath the bath tub were no longer secure and falling away, which made the tub move when you had a shower.
When showering the water leaked into the bathroom and there was no heat control. The hair dryer was held together with sticky tape.
There was a questionable substance that had dried on the phone cord (looked like vomit).
We could keep going, we have photos. My husband is in construction and has demolished and rebuilt over 500 hotel rooms and this is by far the worst.
It was a great location.
