Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott South Kingstown Newport Area

Fairfield Inn is a great place to stay because of it's closeness to the Narragansett beaches and restaurants. We spent a day at Scarborough beach- (only 10 mins away) beautiful sand and the waves were good. A very clean beach and they have concessions stands throughout the beach area. It only cost $6.00 to park and no "walk on fee" like Narragansett beach charges. The hotel and our room were clean and the hotel staff was helpful The hotel offers a large breakfast variety including "real" eggs, cereal, waffles, muffins, bagels...the best part is that they have fresh fruit too! The staff working at the breakfast buffet were very pleasant. Always saying good morning and making sure the items were full. It is only a 1/2 hr ride to Newport- spent the day visiting 2 mansions and walked the Cliff Walk. The Breakers Mansion is a must see. If you are walking the Cliff Walk- wear comfortable shoes- there are sections of the Walk that you have to walk on stone paths. It was worth the trip. The hotel is close to many restaurants including those by /on Narragansett beach.For dining I would recommend Arturo Joe's in Narragansett- (10 mins from the hotel) The food portions were large and everything was so flavorful, I had the Veal Parm (real Veal too!) so delicious! Also had dinner at the Coast Guard House- we were disappointed, our meals was just "ok". The linguine and clams did not have much flavor. The view is nice- but I expected a better meal.

I wish I could remember the friendly girl's (young, brunette and it was a late night check in) name at the front desk but she is an asset your hotel. She made my kids feel welcome.
The hotel was clean and our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was included and had 2 people working during the breakfast house. The breakfast had lots of different hot and cold options.
The Location - we were in Newport for the day and this hotel was the most affordable marriott brand option in the area (even 30 mins away). Narragansett was not on our radar and we had a great time here as well - beach, the towers, lighthouse, fishing port.
We stay in a lot of hotels and this one was one of our favorites this trip - location, value, cleanliness 👍

Breakfast was good. Loved the fitness room. Everything was beautiful.

Great Fairfield Inn. Location is fabulous. Close to beach, pier and restaurants of Narragansett.

Melissa at the front desk was beyond wonderful and very clean property that feels new. The room got the job done with a comfy bed, nice big screen, solid shower and very clean. Will stay here again when I come to RI.

Top! Ein sehr sauberes und perfekt ausgestattetes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Ein sehr sauberer Waschraum mit Trockner. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, konnten aber sehen, dass dieser sehr gepflegt was. Das Frühstück war für USA Verhältnisse sehr ausgiebig und vielfältig. Auch der Parkplatz war sehr großzügig. Hier kann man es auch länger aushalten da die Umgebung viel Natur bietet.
