Apart from a briilant staff, the hotel was a disappointment given it is a 4 star hotel
Pros:

The receptionists (Chaima, Roxanne and Lucy) were smiling, polite, serviceminded and very helpful.

Cons:

The waiters working in the breakfast area had a hard time, since there were more guests than room for at the tables. They tried their best, but hard to do a good job, when the conditions under which you work are not OK. Meaning breakfast room being tiny and in the middle a sofa group were taking up too much space. Not much room for the buffet etc.
Again it is not the employees to blame - it is entirely on the hotel management for not providing decent working conditions.
If this was a 3 star hotel things would be as you could expect from a 3 star hotel.
But when I compare this 4 star hotel to the Hotel & Spa Verte Vallee in Munster, which is also a 4 star hotel, it is not possible to compare, because the differences are just too big!

Pros:

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La chambre privilège était spacieuse et le lit très confortable. L'emplacement est idéal pour profiter de Nancy. Le plus : le parking !

Hotel bien situé entre la gare et la Place Stanislas. Bon accueil et possibilité d'occuper la chambre à l'arrivée de notre train (11h30). Chambre de bonne dimension, bien équipée, tres grand lit. Wifi utilisable facilement et rapidement

Disappointment
Pros:

Location is the main asset here, specifically for all 'Stanislaus' places and sightseeing. Breakfast was quite a feast. Parking is juts across the yard, even though parking a taller or larger car may be a problem.

Cons:

It disappointed us. Service was only so-so. Room was unpleasant: drafty and smelly, and the staff was not able to make it better (or change the room). Sleeping was a challenge. Eventually we ended up with allergic reactions. We left one day earlier than planned just to escape from it.
