Shilo Inn Hotel & Suites - Yuma

read the review. I did not and was so disappointed. This is nothing like the Shilo hotels use to be. This hotel is OLD. Both rooms I tried the a/c did not work properly. Barely any cool air.
Everything in the hotel is OLD.

The rooms and hotel are very outdated. The staff was nice when I arrived. I did find a roach in the bathroom and reported it to staff.

Nice and clean

Everything was broke and the gal at the front desk was annoyed she had to work! Pool broke, steam room broke. The property was a dirty place. They should be ashamed to take peoples money. Front desk personnel needs customer training.

The pictures online made it seem nicer than it is. The hallways were dark and dirty looking. Very run down. The hallway smelled like pot. In the room the wallpaper was peeling off. The bathroom was gross. Hair in the tub and on the floor. Tub didn't drain. The pool was very dirt. Couldn't see the hotel name in the middle. The hot tub looked like mold was growing on the sides. Beds are very hard.

Staff was very nice, however this place is old. Do NOT let the old pictures on Hotels.com fool you. The wallpaper is peeling in the room etc. The main reason for choosing this hotel was the pool, but it’s nothing like the old pictures. The pool is green, nasty, and unusable. I should have asked for a refund.

This is a modest motel, clean and comfortable, with everything I need. Staff are very nice.

I've stayed there at least 20 times and used to kno the staff by name.

It's an old hotel. the lobby smelled like mold but the room was great.

The pool was green and not maintained jacuzzi was not maintained TV did not work in room 414 the a/c didn't keep the room cool

I’ll never stay there again. Friendly great staff, but horrible odor throughout the hotel and repairs needed in the room. Overall…gross

Pool was dirty front end clerk was rude.

There was no clean towels and washcloths when we requested them on our first night. Breakfast was packaged pastries all smooched and who know how old. NOTHING like the photos advertised on Expedia! Whom I have another review to add for Expedia!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! NEVER again!

First when we got there there was a roach crawling up the wall. Then our remote didn’t work, then there was as black hair all over the shower. To top it off the screen to our door wasn’t even attached! We went to go swimming and the pool was nasty AND they only gave us one wash cloth and 2 small towels! When I asked the cleaning lady she said they’re not clean so she gave us pool towels. It was pretty terrible and it was as $200!! I went to Yuma often to stay there like every other week for years, now I’m back working out there and I don’t know what happened to the place!

Oh and when I called to make the reservation, they said they had a room on the first floor I could book because they weren’t busy. I told her I’d call her back with my credit card. I hen I called back it was someone else and they said they’ve been booked for weeks! What?? I don’t know very disappointed!

First of the customer service was horrible. Front desk lady that works night shift was disrespectful and petty. Next and thing is the smell def smells like wet carpet / wood, like they been having plumbing issues. Next is the walls all the wallpaper is falling apart. Lastly the beds well let’s say you have to find a spot so you don’t feel the springs.

The hotel is a little out dated, but we had an AC outage at home and it was the next best thing then a motel 6 room. Pricing was reasonable. The rooms were clean. I did notice a lot of areas throughout the hotel that could be repaired. Not so much in the rooms itself, but just the hallway area or the elevator doors. The breakfast is a grab and go just like muffins, juice, water, coffee, not so much of a complementary breakfast. The pool area is really big. One thing I could say is that they had great customer service. They made me feel welcome from the time of check in till I checked out. So kudos to the employees I came across through my stay.

Friendly staff. Upgraded to a room on the pool. We felt very welcome and room was above average.

Staying here was a breeze. Checking in was easy and staff were kind and professional.
