Good for a budget friendly price but building needs updated.
Pros:

The location was great. Right on the boardwalk. Pool was nice and the free breakfast was simple but good. Staff was very helpful. Lady over the breakfast was very kind and patient. Coffee shop down by the lobby for easy access.

Cons:

The building is a little out of date and disrepair. Elevators are pretty rough looking and have a burning smell. Peeling caulk and trim. Toilet was not seated well and would shift. Balcony railing felt loose and visible heavy rust on balcony floor edge. Not surface rust, structural metal eaten through. Bed covers had a cigarette burn and room wasn’t the cleanest. Also tv does not let you access apps only limited channels. If you want to use Hulu or Netflix you’ll have to buy your own Roku stick and hook it up. Tv needs two remotes for basic functions. Soda machine only takes cash. Room had residue on bed frame and oil prints from someone’s body leaning on glass.

Would definitely return here, no regrets with our choice of stay for our holiday weekend!
Pros:

Perfect location, short walk to the beach, great view from the balcony, comfortable beds, continental breakfast was nice, all staff we encountered were great!, pool was awesome, and the free parking sure helped.

Cons:

Our room (406) the bathroom door did not close, the shower drain was super slow to drain which meant a foot soak while showering, and the TV was stuck on a Spanish cartoon channel- the remote would only power on and off and change volume but not channels, even after I went through the steps to reconnect the remote.
None of these negatives affected us enough to be a problem, just wanted to mention so if that's a deal breaker for someone else they should know.
Oh! And just a heads up to be careful charging your phone with the bedside lamp plugs- if you turn the light off with the switch it also turns the plugs off (that meant a low battery in the morning instead of full charge)

Stayed in the past multiple times, not as clean as I remembered in the past.

I mainly needed a place to sleep and shower after being at the beach. It handled my basic needs
Pros:

A block from the oceanfront. Budget friendly

Cons:

Could use an upgrade. Repaint and more bright.
The edge of the sheet on the bed had 2 spots on it that look like it could have been from food. I dropped a stanley lid behind the dresser with the TV and there was some candy paper on the floor.

Nice Location, but it needs a REFRESH!
Pros:

Good location. The breakfast was ok, but I prefer more of a selection. The staff was amazing, attentive, and friendly.

Cons:

This hotel needs updating. A good refresh would be great. The breakfast needs improving.

Good location for a night but wouldn’t stay many nights.
Pros:

Location and convenience to the beach. Loved that there was a ice cream stand and a hot dog stand right by the entrance.

Cons:

Very outdated, not cleaned very well, and trying to get a cart to your room is nearly impossible on how the set up is.

It was real nice close to the beach and the aquarium

In my room the ceiling was peeling and falling on the bed. The front doors need to be painted and the tub needs to be repainted. Everything else was good. The room was clean. It just needs to be upgraded some. I would come back.
