The Lowndes London – A Jumeirah Partner Hotel

"The room was immaculately clean and tidy throughout our stay - every time we left for shopping or dining out, we'd return to find it freshly cleaned and looking brand new! The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful, making our experience truly amazing. I'd be delighted to book the same room again for every coming trip to London and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone I know.

This is my second home. I feel that I’m with my family because they have very great staff very helpful and they have good will come also they are very friendly. They are very clean. They are very fast on the service. I would like thanks all of Jumeirah staff and management and I hope to see you always the best.

It has been very dissapointed. I expected something very different. In fact at least for me, the only exclusive is the neighbourhood, becaus it is really nice.
But if you check the pictures of the hotel I saw in booking, including the indoor swiming pool, the Gym and teh rest of teh facilities, do not look for them in the hotel, because they are not in the Jumeirah Lowndes hotel. They are 100m. away in another Jumeirah hotel.
This Jumeirah Lowndes hotel, it is a like a poor branch of Jumeirah, but nobody told you in advance.
The rooms are small, in my case only with one bedside table, the bathroom was more than tiny, the shower only for kids, because you need to crouch to wash and clean you hair. If you see the lobby is like a hostel lobby. In summary, really dissapointing.
But what I can not understand is why this Hotel Chain, where I have been before in two of their hotels in Dubai and Mallorca, can use the same brand for a 3 star hotel.
The only good things found in this Jumeirah Lowndes hotel, beyond the location (very good location) has been the cleaness, and the quality of the food in the small breakfast lounge. The variety was not too wide, but the quality was good.

Excellent location with friendly staff. The hotel is close to most restaurants and coffee shops. The room was on the first floor, which was a bit noisy, but overall it was a perfect choice.

This is such a beautiful gem in London. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The property is well maintained and quaint. It is walking distance to shopping, a plethora of dining options and train station(s). I would highly recommend this property and will be back!

Overall the service and the amenities were outstanding. I would have liked more outlets to charge my devices. As such I had to carefully rotate the charging schedule to make sure they were fully charged. I also was disappointed that there was not a separate shower stall. I am 78 and in good shape(I can still do pull ups) but when traveling alone I don't like the challenge of climbing in and out of a tub to take a shower. The breakfast room was horribly understaffed. I was there for a week. Each day I had to ask several times for coffee. They ran out of food frequently ( smoked salmon) and I had to ask several times for them to replace it. I only ate there because it was included.

The hotel was so comfortable to stay in, the location is great in the middle of attractions, the size of the room was just right, the staff welcoming and helpful, and the room was clean and well serviced.
I would definitely repeat my experience with this hotel.

Everything is wonderful about the property but the in room dining after 10pm is extremely limited

Lovely food at the normal high Jumeirah standards , good choice of dishes and an excellent dining room set within the hotel. The only down side for us is the service is a bit on the slow side so make sure to allow for ample time and ensure you have a spare few hours and nothing planned as you could easily spend 3 hours sitting here on a casual lunch.

This hotel is perfectly situated near shopping, near public transportation, near touristic sites, yet inside one of the best areas of London. A number of nice restaurants nearby as well as pleasant walking around London’s most exclusive residential areas.

THE HOTEL WOULD HAVE GOT A 5 STAR RATING EXCEPT FOR THE BREAKFAST. THE CONTINENTAL PART OF IT WAS REASONABLY GOOD, BUT THE HOT FOOD WAS QUITE POOR. WE JUST ASKED FOR SCRAMBLED EGGS ON TOAST AND A POACHED EGG ON TOAST.

WE HAD TO CUT OUR OWN BREAD, GIVE IT TO THEM, THEY THEN TOASTED IT. THE EGGS CAME SEPARATE ON ANOTHER PLATE. MY SCRAMBLED EGGES WERE NOT THAT WARM AND DARK IN COLOUR, LIKE THEY HAD BEEN COOKED IN RE-USED OIL. IT WAS QUITE UNPLEASANT TO EAT, SO I LEFT HALF. MY WIFE WAS GIVEN TWO POACHED EGGS. NEITHER WAS VERY WARM. SHE ASKED FOR THEM WELL DONE. ONE WAS AND THE OTHER WAS RUNNY YOLK.

HONESTLY, IF THEY JUST SORTED OUT A HALF DECENT BREAKFAST, AND PAIRED THAT UP WITH THE SERVICE & QUALITY OF THE ROOMS WHICH WAS ALREADY EXCELLENT, THEN THEY WOULD GET 5 STARS.

We love this hotel. It was central. We could walk to many places. It was close to the tube station. It was clean. The people was so friendly. They made our experience wonderful we will be back.

Average stay. Very pleasant and professional people at the front desk and restaurant. Room was smaller than expected. Air conditioning was not working properly. Gym and pool outside the property. I would never come back.

Good clean hotel but they had no staff for the breakfast,it seems they rent the restaurant area out which isn’t working.

Outstanding service from arrival to front desk to checkout. Facilities really fantastic. Brilliant Italian restaurant ZAFFERANO next door. Walking distance of multiple locations. Will definitely try to make this hotel of choose for London visits.

Only one outlet to charge your devices. Shower was in a very high tub so difficult for older people. The TV was cumbersome to operate and they didn’t subscribe to tennis channel but apparently you could pay extra to get it. No outlet in bathroom for hair dryer. But bed comfortable, great breakfast , all staff very helpful, and great location
