The bed had hairs and a few stains on them. The floor in the room was uneven and the laminate was sticking up in some parts of the floor making it easy to trip on. We were too tired to look for another place to stay. I will not stay there again if I have another layover.
The mattress felt old and uneven, it was very uncomfortable. If you want to be able to have a good night sleep, go to another hotel with better and newer beds.
The staff is really friendly and helpful, I’ll definitely stay again, but the room need some work (at least mine) it was a gap in the door, I was in the first floor and the music in the bar was to loud specially if you have to rest to catch a flight super early in the morning, and for a two double bed room I think two towels are not enough. But then that the place is great, location, value and service.
This is the third time we stayed and very time is very good and even better , the room was perfect, side and comfort , breakfast is great and was ones to get there from late flights are the most valuable aspect of out stays . Staff is friendly and all for our arrival and leaving was easy .
We had a draining issue that caused an eggy smell in our bathroom! Food was very mid. Great location
Apart from convenience of being located near Airport terminal 1 ther is nothing much positive. The bed is not comfy and feels old, there is a stench of sewage inside the building. The hallways are old and dingy.
When a good room price is available, this Camino Real Aeropuerto is a great for families before or after flights in/out of MEX. Comfortable rooms, attentive staff, good restaurant options.
We stayed for one night during our trip to Mexico City for a concert. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well appointed. Staff was very friendly and willing to help with all our needs. We had lunch and breakfast at the restaurant and we were happy with the quality of our meals, though they were a bit expensive in comparison to other venues in the city.
Just what you need when your have long layover times. We arrived at 2 a.m. and our next flight was as 11:55 a.m. Sleeping here made a world of difference because of the comfy beds and quiet room. The only thing my wife was missing was a window she could open as she wanted some fresh air. We made do with the AC, though.
This hotel is conveniently located in terminal one, just cross the pedway from inside the terminal. Room was clean and beds were comfortable and clean. Restaurant was open until 1 AM.
The beds were very comfortable, the service very good. We got the baby bed we had reserved before.
The floors were very dirty and my baby was crawling on the flop and her pants were totally black and full of hair and dust.
The hotel was a very welcome over night stay after a 11.5 hour flight from Paris.
The check in was good, a very pleasant young lady ,quick and efficient. We were helped with our luggage and escorted to our room . The bed was exceptionally comfortable.. The free shuttle bus to the terminal was good the next morning for our onward flight.
OK for an overnight stay at the airport. Basic and uninspiring hotel. Very overpriced, considering room, quality and standards of service
Second time we stayed at this hotel. First time was about 9 years ago and I remember it being fine and, combined with its perfect location, made it the ideal place to stay overnight between connecting flights. This time, the location is the only reason the stay was worthwhile.
We checked in at about 10:30PM and it was smooth. Concierge was pleasant and efficient and assigned us to room 4114. Hallway outside the room was not messy but not spotless. Had the impression there had been recent construction. Room was fine ... practical and functional. Beds were not in bedframes: box spring on the floor and a mattress on top.
Went to take a shower and virtually no hot water: barely a trickle from the faucet and the shower was, at best, tepid. Called the front desk for assistance. Maintenance staff came up and I showed her the issues. She nodded in agreement and then spent about 15 minutes in the bathroom adjusting what she could. When she was done, she basically said, it is what it is ... as though my experience was standard for the hotel. Which, if true, is not good. At all.
By then, it was a bit after 11PM. Our connecting flight was early the next morning and we needed to check-out at 5AM. So, I had to weight whether to make this a bigger issue and move to another room or just deal with it and get as much sleep as I could. Since I was traveling with my spouse and young son, I didn't think it the hassle of switching rooms was worth the lost sleep. So, we dealt with it.
Next morning, all 3 of us took a cold shower and checked-out. I told the Concierge our problems with the hot water (he was the same person who checked us in) and, again, his reaction was muted. And again, I got the distinct impression that he was not surprised about the problem. And again: not good. At all.
I cannot recommend this hotel in its current state. Consider it if location is the only -- I mean the absolute only -- factor in your decision.
I wait around 1 hours to check in. They have 2 buildings. Main building is fine. North building is disgusting but they charge you the same price. My room is in the first floor of the north building and it is very noisy as the central air conditioning are outside. I required to change a room and the check in counter ppl told me you could leave and go to other hotels. It is the first time I met like that.
This hotel is an expensive, noisy tourist trap. The staff is surly, and the environment and amenities are on par with a two star hotel for a five star price.
Rooms are spartan, like a dorm, with two tiny (8 Oz?) bottles of drinking water inadequate for tooth brushing and a cup of coffee. No washcloths, no hair dryer. Towels are grey, not white. Room has MDF hard floors like cheap motels, instead of plush carpets. Atrium style building ensures noisiness until wee hours.
If you want service amenities and comfort for your fee, stay elsewhere.
Hotel was run down, or at least the room I was in. The food was good, the bed was comfortable, but other than that it was ok.
I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport and I couldn't have found one closer! A 2 minute walk across a connecting pedestrian bridge and I was there.
The hotel is impressive inside and the rooms exceeded my expectations for quality and comfort. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious.
The staff was professional and friendly.
The location was excellent. Access to airport shuttle and MEX airport are the reason we stay here. However, the rooms were somewhat dated. The bed nearly "ran away": it would slide away from the wall quite easily. I had to get up several times in the night to readjust the bed so my pillows would not drop behind the headrest. Quality of sleep was poor. The shuttle bus scheduling was disorganized - not a first come, first served basis. People waiting before were jumped ahead by people who joined late. The concierge did not control the order people arrived to wait for the shuttle. We left for the airport with people standing inside the shuttle: a tad unsafe.
I use this hotel each time I stay in Mexico City between flights.
All good and I enjoyed the refurbished room this stay.
Clean, comfortable, good amenities and lovely/helpful employees.
