Fantastic location- close to Prado, etc, but quiet square. Rooms large and comfortable, staff fantastic.

I recommend this lovely hotel. I would stay there again. Don’t forget to view the art/antiquities exhibit.
Pros:

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was spacious, bed was comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. The location was fabulous, right near the Prado and in the center of everything. I really appreciated viewing the collection of ancient urns and tiles.

Cons:

The bathroom though fully equipped and clean and attractive lacked grip bars and the shower hose was hard to wrangle.

Expect a bit better from a 5 star hotel

Location. Cleanliness. Concierge. Minibar

Cons:

Tiny rooms. Noises easily heard from other rooms. Shower was strangely difficult to handle as the pipe was very stiff and one sided. Very expensive- on the day was £500 cheaper - and no upgrade offered or anything to make that any better(would expect something from a 5 star). Took a prepayment and did not release till probed. No vegetarian options advertised for the Restaurant. V Hot day but swimming pool was closed

Die Lage des Hotel ist sehr zentral, man kann alle wesentliche.Punkte der Innenstadt zu Fuß erreichen.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stets zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Leider konnte die oberste Etage nicht benutzt werden, weil es Bauarbeiten gab, sodass die Dachterrasse nicht verfügbar war.
