Pros:

Location was decent. Front desk person was nice.

Cons:

When we first walked in the smell hit us. Old, musty/moldy mixed with cigarette. I should have asked for a refund right then and found another place to stay.
Room was not any better but we were tired from a long day of driving so decided to stick it out instead of losing our money.
Next morning my husband found a bug in our bed crawling around. He killed it and with ChatGPT it said it didn’t look like bed bugs but to check the mattress closely. It said it looked like a roach. You see one you know there are many more. The front desk person said she would tell maintenance but acted like no big deal and offered no option. Said they got a lot of rain lately so that’s probably why they got in.
Breakfast was not good. Bitter coffee and food appearance not appealing. I understand that it isn’t intended to be fancy but clean and fresh is desirable.
2nd Hampton Inn we have stayed at on this 2 week driving trip and both have been bad. See what the 3rd one brings.

If this is the best in Hanover it is a sad.
Pros:

Chris at the front desk.

Cons:

There was no pot in the in room coffee pot. Most of the outlets didn't work or would not charge a phone. First night there was no hot water for 8 minutes. Everything was stained and dirty. The sheets were clean but so scented I couldn't sleep. Only one jet in the hot tub was strong. After waiting for the elevator for 10 minutes I had to call the front desk and say I am stuck here and how do I get downstairs? They said the elevator would be fixed shortly yet only a half hour later they put up signs telling everyone the 1 elevator was broken. My 89 year old mother couldn't get downstairs, and THAN the guy at the front desk said " we could accompany her." Other than Chris at the front desk it was a very annoying stay i have ever had.

My go to place in Hanover!
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, nice staff, pool option, walking distance to good restaurants. Cold beer for sale! Decent shower water pressure.
