Pros:

Breakfast was good. Room was clean.

Cons:

The A/C-Heater made a horrible noise all night. Barely could sleep. When I tokd staff of the situation, all they said was, " OK, we will tell maitenanc." There were no offers to correct it or accommodate anything. A nigjt of rest did not happen. We left more tired than when we arrived.

Some uncleanliness,clear issues in lobby, not good staff, and old elavator
Pros:

There was a weird yellow stain on the blanket but small,weird smell when I first walked in a light was broken and the wallpaper was a little ripped house keeping was taking too long so we had to wait longer for our room the elavator is old and needs repair but it’s quiet on the fourth floor fine breakfast and only old and a little dirty overall if your are looking for a cheap place that isn’t bad but not good come here.

Location is great, right at the City center with all the restaurants, malls, etc. Breakfast was good, just right amount and variety. Friendly and helpful staffs and easy when it comes with asking favors.

Cons:

First time I had a hotel where the sink or lavatory is outside the bathroom, which was ok, since it’s just right outside the door.

Poor Maintence issues not addressed, had to move rooms, lack of integrity

Layton Utah was our location. I had looked at reviews of many motels and thought I had picked one that would work. I was WRONG. The rooms shade was broken, the bathtub was backed up with water and my husband had to pull out a full wad of black hair to get it to drain. Then the next day TV service was out for a day and a half. So we went downstairs to watch tv on the main TV in the lounge area and had to ask the night clerk, who was babysitting her two grandchildren 6&3 years old, if they could please turn down their devices so we could hear the tv. This was 5:30 p.m. at night.
The dad did not pick this children up until 8:30 p.m.

Finally the next day when they did nothing about the shade, sitting in a dark room with no floor lamps is not my idea of an enjoyable morning, we asked to be moved to another room.

We were there to attend my brother's funeral and this was an unneccessary inconvenience on top of my grief. Moving funeral clothes, cpap machines, refrigerator items, a 4 night stay, not anything that made my experience anymore helpful.

The downstairs women's bathroom one stall broken, many examples of maintenance items not taken care of.

And when I asked for some compensation I was told she would give me points and wouldn't address the root issue of my frustration, she tried to make it about my personal situation not their accountability of poor management.

Poor leadership, management and integrity.

Do not book here.
