3 Nächte - gefühlt wie eine Woche Kurzurlaub -
Pros:

Standard-Zimmer absolut ausreichend für einen Städte-Trip, da man wenig im Zimmer ist, es könnte sich sonst etwas zu klein anfühlen. ABER: großes Bad, Klimaanlage perfekt (bei 40 Grad Außentemperatur), alles supersauber. Wir waren 3 Nächte da und hätten gerne verlängert, war aber ausgebucht! Pool toll, ausreichende Anzahl Sonnenschirme wurden geliefert und aufgestellt, schöne Terrasse mit Stadtblick ohne aufdringlichen Konsumzwang von der Bar - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Cons:

Vielleicht ein paar Aschenbecher in der Smoking-Area im 4. OG ?? Ein Tipp für das Baskenland insgesamt: Französisch ist hilfreich, Englisch geht teilweise, Deutsch eher schwierig. Aber ein bisschen Baskisch ist gar nicht so schwer - halt einfach total anders - und bringt mehr als Sudoku am Pool.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach grandios.
Das Zimmer ist gross und die Matratzen sind sehr gut. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut.
Das Personal ist freundlich.
Mit dem 11er Bus, der ca. 800 m entfernt hält, kann man direkt nach San Sebastian an den "Boulevard 19" fahren. Preis 1,90 € pro Person. Bzw im Touristenbüro sich eine Karte für 6 Fahrten zum Preis von 10 € kaufen und einmal mit der Standseilbahn vom Monte Igueldo für 2€ pro Person fahren .

Cons:

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Cons:

- Wifi did not work at all in the room. Despite complaint the staff did not do anything to fix it.
- Despite I asked for double bed, we got 2 single beds, staff did not make any efforts to put at least one matrass.
- Parking on one evening was full and had to walk 400mm uphill, staff did not monitor the hotel parking as several cars were taking 2 places
- Breakfast is very basic

The reception staff could be more helpful - you arrive before 3pm ok the room isn’t ready but it would have been nice to use the pool but you need a room key to access that surely a temporary key could be given. The à la carte restaurant you have a reservation for 8 pm and at 8.07 the place is still locked up. Very restricted menu at the à la carte and bar menu and terrible fried offerings at the pool bar. For such a lovely hotel and location let it self down badly
