Cons:

The AC in the room was REALLY LOUD and blew across the bed. When it was on you could not hear the TV or to talk on the phone. Parking for three days was in my opinion to high.

A person that cared
Pros:

Although we had a bad experience with our room being to hot and being relocated to a smaller room without a refund for the difference on our 40th wedding anniversary. There was one person that stood out by getting our car and helped loading it. Vernon had a very positive attitude in sweltering heat. We would like to thank him for all that he did.

Disappointment in Indy
Pros:

In spite of having an what I thought was am expensive room in a mediocre hotel, the a/c didn't work in our room, and thermostat showed upper 70s. To be fair, we arrived after 5 pm, and returned about 8:30, not realizing the a/c wasn't functioning until after 9, by which time, according to the front desk, the maintenance person had left. They offered to move us to a staff suite, but by that time we'd unpacked and my wife was already falling asleep. Hotel made a very small adjustment in the rate. Intend to pursue this further as we've been Hilton loyalty program members for a long time.

Other than this, the bellman was extremely helpful.

Professional valet at the Hampton Inn
Pros:

Both Vernon and Nick were extremely professional and very friendly. I would use them to valet my car any day. They were knowledgeable and proficient with both check-in and check out. Nick gave me additional information about keeping the car for a couple of extra hours. They are both doing a great job!

Frustrating!!!!
Pros:

Couldn't get more towels or laundry bag as front desk didn't know where to find them! Not acknowledged as HH Member. Valet 24/7 but waited 45 min. @ 6:00 a.m.. we were only people waiting! Pretty sure the valet guy was asleep out front In his car! We inquired several times with the front desk clerk as to where the valet people were! He FINALLY looked up our car after I told him we knew our keys were hanging on the valet box right by the valet counter! He went & got our keys for us & we found our vehicle & left!!! Now I have to work on getting refunded for valet parking! Just Ridiculous! We could've been 45 min. on the road!
