Very happy with my valet customer service and level of respect given by Tim
Our room was clean and quiet. The valet service was excellent especially Timmothy.
Tim and his crew were beyond amazing and helpful! Would highly recommend to family and friends! We will be back! Thanks for a great experience!
Great location
No free parking
Included breakfast and the rooms were nice.
No hot tub or pool and valet parking seemed pretty high compared to a few other hotels after talking with family that stayed elsewhere.
Location was perfect
My room was not clean
Tip ... always have the access card in your hand. You need it everywhere.
Tip ... if you pay for valet via the link, let the hotel know, as it remains on your bill.
The Good
This place is close to everything you want to do downtown. The only time you would need a car is going to the Speedway, and maybe the Children's Museum. The city view was excellent from the corner of the building.
The Bad
There is a bar across the street that blasts loud music until 2 am ... expect ZERO sleep if you need to get up early. I cannot say how the non-city room views are. I don't plan on returning to Indianapolis, but if I do ... I will choose a different location. Not much the hotel can do here, except make arrangements with the Wild Beaver Saloon and ask them to keep their music indoors.
We reserved a room with a roll in shower, and did not receive it. Luckily they found a shower seat and my spouse can transfer to the shower but had a difficult time with no bars near the toilet.
There were only two working elevators, and with nine floors, sometimes you had to wait.
The Ugly
Keep in mind the hotel resolved this immediately when I called to complain.
The valet sends you a link to request your car. That link requires credit card information, and charges your card.
At checkout, I was told "everything is on the card, no additional charges" but never saw an itemized bill. Soon, my credit card said I was charged $10 more. I asked why, and they said the valet charges were too low. I was asked if I paid the valet in the app (they meant website via the line), I had no idea. They fixed the $10 and finally sent me an itemized bill. I looked at my credit card online ... and both the valet and the hotel charged me for parking ... so I had to call back and get that fixed. This is a complete lack of communication between the hotel and the valet.
I had a late check out at 1:30pm. Housekeeping was banging on the door and slamming doors at 10am and then the front desk called at 10:30am. I need to sleep because I have to drive all day today. Front desk needs to do better about letting housekeeping know about late checkouts. Housekeeping needs to know that slamming doors is bothering people who are not checking out the hotel.
Tim the valet manager was very nice to me and helped me park my shuttle bus and also helped me get out the parking lot.
