THE CAPSULE Myeongdong

Major security issues and unclean.

You can access the building without keys or passwords. There is no verification during check-in so you can access a list of people staying there that night. Someone else was accessing my locker so i had to sleep with my valuables. Rooms were cluttered and space limited. Beds may not be large enough for tall guests. Showers were slow to heat up. Do not reccomend.

深夜到着でセルフチェックイン方式でチェックインしました。入り口前にQRコードが置いてあり、それを読み取ってチェックインします。読み取ったら自分の部屋番号とロッカーの暗証番号とホテルメインドアの暗証番号が表示されます。夜遅かったので少し戸惑いました。シャワールームは地下一階までエレベーターで降りて使用します。廊下の冷房がものすごく効いていて寒かったです。(自動管理です。)部屋のドアを閉めれば問題はありませんが、カバンの準備する時などは寒いです。タオルは1枚支給されます。他のアメニティは支給されません。シャワールームにタオル置いています。
シャワールームは少し汚いです。荷物を預けるスペースがあり自由に置けますがとても小さく、廊下に剥き出しになっており、入口ドアの真近くにあるので、防犯上スタッフもいないのでお勧めしません。お金を払ってでも外のコインロッカーを使うべきだと思います。近くにコンビニがあるので深夜到着早朝は便利です。

전체적인 평가: 명동이라는 좋은 위치에서 묵을 수 있는 숙소로 생각했을때 가격적으로나 간편함으로나 정말 큰 메리트가 있습니다. 하지만 버스는 몰라도 역과의 거리가 조금 있어서 한참을 걸어가야지만 근처 역이 나오는게 조금 흠이었습니다. 시설이 좀 노후화 되어있고, 직원의 청소나 업무를 위한 왕래가 잦은건 좋지만 좁은 캡슐호텔용 건물이니만큼 자주 마주치며 사생활 노출이나 길막이 자주 일어나니 그 점 알아두시면 좋을거 같습니다.

보안에 관하여: 일정 시간이 지나면 호텔 문을 닫고 도어락으로 잠굽니다. 숙박객에게만 도어락 비밀번호를 알려주는 식입니다. 그렇기에 보안면에 있어서 안전하다고 생각합니다. 캡슐방 문에도 잠굴 수 있는 장치가 있으나 좀 어렵습니다. 요령 터득해야함.

캡슐방의 평가: 방은 제가 키가 184정도 되는데 발을 쭉 뻗어도 공간이 남을 정도로 꽤나 큽니다. 물론 앉은자세로 허리를 쭉 펴도 천장에 머리가 닿이지 않습니다. 혼자만의 아늑한 공간을 좋아하시면 힐링의 수준인 크기입니다. 답답함도 거의 못느꼈습니다.

콘센트 꼽는게 두개가 있는데 방을 잘못 고른건지 꽤나 뻑뻑해서 잘 들어가지지 않아 애를 좀 썼습니다. 한번 들어가면 잘 고정은 됩니다. 환기가 안되기 때문에 환풍기는 계속 켜놓고 있어야 하고, 환풍기 소리도 염려해야 합니다. 살짝 거슬리는 정도이며, 이어폰 끼고 있으면 아예 안들리는 수준.
침구류는 딱 친구집 놀러가서 자면 느껴지는 그 느낌 그대롭니다. 살짝 찝찝하시면 베개에 수건을 얹어서 자도 돼요. 매트리스 커버가 시간이 조금 지나면 점점 벗겨져서 다시 끼워야 하는 불편함이 존재합니다.

락카룸: 자기 방 번호대로 있고 비밀번호치고 열 수 있게 되어있습니다. 웬만한 캐리어는 다 들어가지기에 걱정 안하셔도 됩니다.

샤워시설: 목욕타올, 작은 타올 다 준비 되어 있으며 드라이기와 고데기또한 있습니다. 샤워실은 부스 형태로 칸칸마다 있기에 맘 놓고 샤워하실 수 있습니다. 다만 남녀가 같이 샤워하는 공간 이기에, 머리 말릴때 살짝 머쓱한 상황이 생길 수 있습니다. 꼭꼭 부스 안에서 다 갈아입으세요. 뜨거운 물 찬물 잘 나옵니다. 단, 쓰는 사람이 많을경우 뜨거운 물이 약하게 나올 수도 있어요. 기본적으로 샴푸, 바디워시만 있으니 다른거 챙겨가시려면 챙겨가세요.

마무리: 정말 모든 에로사항이 저렴한 가격, 좋은 위치에 다 없어질 만 합니다. 그것 제외하고도 아늑하고 간편한 숙박시설로써의 의무는 충실히 하고 있다 생각합니다.

Bed comforts

Reservé el lugar, pero sinceramente no me quedé la noche ahí. Cuando llegué a mi cuarto estaba desordenado, con ropa y maletas afuera de las cápsulas. Dentro de la cápsula encontré lo necesario para pasar la noche pero estaba sucia la colchoneta. Había solo un sanitario para todo el piso y había 5 duchas para todo el edificio (hombres y mujeres). No coinciden la fotos de su página oficial con lo que ofrecen.

セルフチェックインの方法が安全面的に不安を感じた。
シャワールームが不衛生であった。

I would like to address an issue that occurred during my stay. One night, I discovered that my room had been occupied due to a mistake on the part of the staff, which appears to have resulted from a communication error. Consequently, I was required to stay in another room that night.

The alternative space provided was insufficient, as it was too small for me to open my luggage. Additionally, there were no common areas available for me to relax or attend to my personal needs.

The place is not well kept and something in the pod was making my nose drip.

Shower room needs to be improved. Lobby area needs to be more organized…etc.

I liked that the capsule itself locked from the inside.

The hotel was so bad I had to book another one on the same day. Hotel.com staff were super helped up and understanding and helped me through.
But not only was the hotel was extremely bad, when asked for refund(I sent pictures of a dirty bed, no moving space within the room, and voiced my concern that even tho it was supposed to be an all female floor, men were using the bathroom and had easy and free access to our beds) they only refunded me 20$ out of the 600$ I paid.
So: hotel has no common area, the floors that are supposed to be separate are mixed, the beds are dirty, inside the capsule is extremely hot, no space to open any kind of luggage, the showers had extreme mold, the staff were no where to been seen and the hotel is located on a fabric factory street(the smell of chemicals is pungent).

立地が非常によくソウル駅、明洞、東大門、南大門に1駅から3駅くらいでアクセスできて、この価格は最高です。
寝れればどこでもいい人にとっては最高のホテルだと思います。

The bed was horrible, it's kind of dirty and messy everywhere in the place and one day I found my luggages and all my stuff on the ground because I used the wrong locker, the manager just let it here lol... I don't recommend it at all
