Clean and tidy within walking distance to shops and local amenities
Pros:

The location was central to Llewellyn Hall which is where we needed to go.the rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Cons:

We should have been notified about the roadworks prior to our stay, there were no lights in our room, only bedside lamps, which were not bright . Not ideal if you wanted to read or do work, no exhaust fan in the bathroom and we were next to the lift, which while convenient, was very noisy going up and down all night.

Not the worst but not the greatest either
Pros:

Its location was really good !

Cons:

The rooms were cold, although the temps were changed on the thermostats, the blankets could be thicker, lights could be changed to brighter lights. For the amount of money being paid, not even complimentary bottles of water are provided, parking is $35, to be honest for the amount of money paid, you could probably book somewhere better.

Very nice hotel with very kind staffs
Pros:

The hotel is in very convenient location and very clean. Also, food at the restaurant was very good. But most of all, the staffs very kind and attentive to customer needs. I forgot a necktie for a very important meeting and asked whether I can borrow one with the understanding that it will be a long shot and the reception staff (thank you Troy!) kindly lent me one!!! This was a life saver for me. This kind of extra mile support for customers is extremely appreciated and I think this is a prime example of customer satisfaction. I really like to recognize Troy’s kind help. I will keep coming back. Thank you Troy and QT hotel Canberra!

No Croissant but hey we’re doing a vodka brunch
Pros:

No heat on in the room when I arrived at 9pm when the outside temperature was 9c.
À la carte menu didn’t include a croissant or percolator coffee ..given that the hotel was advertising a vodka brunch it seems the focus was on the vibe not the basics

Quick getaway, would explore other options
Pros:

Great location. Convenient to access restaurants, theatre, etc. Relatively up to date in terms of decor. Parking was $35.00 per night which was decent.

Cons:

The hotel wasn’t very clean on this visit unfortunately. Stains on furniture, lifts not kept clean, etc. Breakfast was served cold - it was almost like they hadn’t planned on having that number of people for breakfast.
