Sophie was incredibly knowledgeable with wine and the food. Definitely recommend!
Great restaurant.
There was some noise from the construction sites which continued to work throughout the night.
Staff were great and very helpful. Asked for an Early check in and was processed without too much hassle. Issues with my room were also promptly addressed.
Place is quite dingy. Beds too plush offer no support. Was initially set up in room A. Bed was badly made by putting together 2 single bed doonas to cover the king bed. Sheer curtains were very dirty. Tv didn’t work well. Was moved to a different room which was much better but compared to QT Perth… this is a whole different story. I will not be trying QT Canberra again if Im ever in the area.
Central location and easy check in/out
Parking was extra
Have stayed a few times. Good, clean rooms.
Bed was uncomfortable.
Lovely hotel great bar and restaurant
Rooms are looking tired and old, not the normal QT standard
Great service, great room service for breakfast, and extremely comfortable. Also great value!
Nothing that the hotel can help right now, but the construction noises in the vicinity (on the Saturday morning) woke me up a little earlier than I had hoped.
The hotel made a strong first impression. The lobby was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which immediately created a sense of professionalism and care. One detail that stood out was the scent in the lobby—it smelled fresh and pleasant, which made the entire space feel welcoming and comfortable. Small details like this make a difference because they set the tone for the stay the moment you walk in. Overall, the cleanliness and atmosphere of the lobby left a very positive impression.
One downside during my stay was the amount of construction happening around the property. There was ongoing work in the surrounding area, which created noticeable noise and made the environment feel a bit disruptive at times. While this is likely temporary and outside the hotel’s direct control, it did impact the overall experience, particularly when trying to relax or enjoy the surroundings.
We came for an anniversary trip as we were seeing a show locally. For the money we spent the Stay was really disappointing.
The highlights of the room were that the bed was comfortable. Outside of that the bathroom was disappointing, the shower was leaking and had terrible pressure and their shampoo, conditioner and body was are just in communal bottles on the shower, not connected or sealed so anyone could have tampered with them in any way, this is the first time I have ever seen this at a hotel.
After the show we returned to the hotel bar for a couple of drinks as it was a Tuesday evening and most places in town were closed or empty. Not only were the drinks insanely expensive ($40 for a house whiskey and dry and a vodka lime and soda) they had grossly over served a group of business people, both men and women, that were yelling at each other, dancing in the middle of the lounge and very visibly intoxicated, especially for 9:00 on a Tuesday night. One bar tender attempted to cut them off and the other then served them another full bottle of wine to the table which was our cue to leave.
Breakfast was also very disappointing, being charged $7 for marmalade glazed ham which was genuinely 3 pieces of grilled deli ham as well as $7 for 2 pieces of oven baked burnt bacon was really underwhelming. Having stayed at the QT in Queensland and Sydney and for $350 a night we expected better and were incredibly disappointed. We will not be back and will encourage others to make alternative choices. There is also a huge amount of road works going on at the moment which I understand is not in their control but was not communicated to us at any time during the booking process.
As above
Location and price are the winners but the hotel has a fun vibe as well
NA
Not sure is it booking.com or hotel but was charged $35 for parking when it was never mentioned in the booking
Staff were nice but thats about it
Everything else. Rooms were putrid. Mould in the shower. Air con didnt work making it extremely uncomfortable. Filthy. And 2 single beds for a twin adult share room.
The staff
Slow service old rooms
That I won’t be booking back there again
Way over priced for what room we booked, disappointing views, run down & outdated style/ design of rooms. Car park roof is small (was told) not exactly central if you don’t have a car.
Very beautifully Decorated
No issues
Great location with nice restaurant and bar options
