The bar closed to early especially after a concert night when people want to party on
near our event location. walking distance to everywhere. it's in center of city of Melbourne. near Flinder street station so it's easy if you want to go to suburb of Melbourne. a lot of nice restaurant from the street food type till fine dining

A fairly luxurious hotel with a theme (photography), the Hotel Indigo fairly much lived up to the hype.
The location is good - the quiet end of Flinders Street (literally on one corner of the CBD) but close enough to the 'central city' (shopping) to be a fairly easy walk.
We travelled for the tennis (Australian Open) and a bonus was the excellent placement of the large TV - on the wall, directly in front of the (very) large bed [just a it should be] - once back at the hotel we could continue watching the play in comfort.
Our 2nd floor room provided a relaxing view of a large tree directly outside a window - a pleasant bit of nature, right in the city.
We had an issue with housekeeping , though only on our second day after arrival [22 Jan / Room 220]. A 'scrunched up' toilet roll had been left on the bench area above the fridge and a cleaning rag left in the bathroom sink. On the same day the bed was badly (untidily) made. It was clearly a rush job. Fortunately these issues (previously unreported) never occurred again and the following day and those after the room was perfect.
Location was excellent, aesthetically the room was amazing, pillows were to die for, I slept extremely well
