Breakfast was fine, food was fine, pancake machine was cool. Small milks were cool. Soaps, body washes in the shower area, and at the sink was a nice touch. Beds were ok on a comfort level. Room was okay, basic room, all good. the cost is good, its just somewhere to sleep basically if you are going to Hershey park nearby. Room service was ontime consistent, and the girls were very accomadating when we asked for things, so a plus to them.
lots of the chairs in the breakfast area were disgusting, looked like 20 years old, ripped vinyl, it was bad, first thing i noticed when i walked in the hotel. and they are stacked to the left when you walk in, kind of looks like a cluster F**, and messy, not a first good impression. You can tell the elevator is old, it goes really really slow, hopefull it is at the very leaset well maintained and updated maintenance wise. At nightime, the front of the hotel is super dark, i mean really dark. You should have lights installed all across the front of the hotel, for safety and security reasons. You dont feel safe coming home from being out late at night, and the parking lot is dark, especially the front of the Hotel itself, where it should be lit up. AC in our room probably needed a Refrigerant charge, was not as cool as other hotels on average i have been in. Bathroom was kind of gross. FLoor tile grout was black with dirt, in the bathroom and entrance way. needs to be heavy steam cleaned or something, and then sealed. Tub grout was kind of gross, shower head was a little rusty looking, not great. back of bathroom door (facing toilet), was all chewed up at the bottom, and like flaking at the bottom. When i ran the water in the sink, it started filling up right away and not draining, i knew enough to go underneath the sink, to push or pull, to make the sink drain go up, and open up, so the water drained down, other people staying there may not have known that. In the hallway, outside my room, when looking at my door, at the top, i could actually see wiring, lots of gaps to see it all along the hallway (lots of cat 5/6 network cables, blue was the color) and all the runs. It was horribly hidden, look like an un licensed contractor did a shoddy job or something to try to conceal it. I think lots of the place needs updating, especially the bathrooms, put some auto air fresheners in the hallway, make it look and better. I expected better from Holiday Inn .
Good breakfast - good location
The air conditioner in the room was abit noisy.
Clean room and beds had proper bedding.
I was exhausted after driving for approximately 14 hours over the course of less than 24 hours. I came in late when I just couldn't drive any further. The woman at the front desk was quick to ask me what I was traveling for, which was for a funeral out of state. I told her how much driving and how exhausted I was and couldn't wait to get a nice rest. She was like "yeah, youre a late check-in I see you just booked it." Place wasn't sold out, but she went ahead and placed me in a room right at the elevator door, the staff break room, and supplies. So starting just a few hours upon arrival, I'm awakened to the staff main traffic and conversational area and the constant elevator from all of the guests that had the chance of a great nights rest. The room was nice but I felt that the terrible placement was intentional. She could have put me somewhere quiet at least. Instead of rested, I'm exhausted. I feel like I was treated as though because I was a late night patron, my rest didn't matter.
We made the reservation because there was an extensive power outage in PA at the time.
I went to HI Express on July 5 to check in and was told I live too close to the facility and I could not stay. The desk clerk assured me that we would get our money back.
No money.
I called HI on July 8th and was transferred to a Holiday Inn case manager. The lady took down all the information and gave me a case # of 10598367773. They were supposed to get back to me via email with the resolution.
I have not received an email. My CC has been charged but nothing has been refunded.($210.90)

To let you know we booked the room because our electrical power in our area of Harrisburg, PA went out on Saturday July 4th. We booked the room for Sunday night July 5th, however our power came back on July 5th at approximately 2:30 p.m. therefore there was no need for the room. When we went to the hotel to cancel, they said we have to contact Booking.com to be refunded. So we never stayed at the room and if we can be refunded by your company we would appreciate it.
Breakfast was great, really enjoyed the gym on site. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
Not sure.
We made a reservation as there is a massive power outage in the area. We arrive at hotel and they say we cannot stay there as we are locals. Nowhere on there website this was stated. We called the hotel multiple times before we booked to see if there was power but they did not answer and there voice mail was full. This is terrible costumer service. Do not stay at this hotel as they do not care about people. There is a heat wave and a power outage and they do not care. The Hampton In. Up the street was more then happy to take us and our money.
Very good breakfast, great value for what we paid
