rooms were clean, neat, beds were spotless with plenty of pillows and freshly laundered sheets.
Pros:

breakfast buffet was well organized, tasteful, warm/hot and plentiful. seating was sufficient, time frame was long enough to allow both for a late awakening and still have plenty of time to eat.

Cons:

bathroom basin had no means of draining the water from washing, brushing teeth, etc. the fixture lacked the necessary plunger to raise the drain cap allowing water to escape. removing the drain cap was the only way to drain waste water. the tub/shower fixture was backward, right for hot left for cold and the sticker explaining the operation was not readily apparent until after i had discovered the backwards operation thru trial and error. when first opening the tub tab, reddish/brown water gushed into the tub giving the impression the water hadn't been used in this room (306) for a long while.

No staff at front desk
Pros:

I waited 30 minutes at 130am to check in. No one was at the desk. I called the hotel phone number to listen to the phone ring off the hook. I called IHG and sat on the phone for 10 minutes while listening to them call the phone while I stood at the desk. Eventually guy comes out and says he was using the bathroom, the IHG representative asks if he’s there now and that sounds like it settled the dispute and got off the phone. I wouldn’t have wasted my time with the reservation knowing i would have to wait over half and hour to check in after 1am to get into my room
