Huge pool
Another guess talking to my sonabout something and couldn't come to me
Very nice staff especially the woman at the small bar. Nice pool area as well.
A bit tricky to find entrance
Convenient location to Interstate 41
Constant odor of sewer pipes in our room
Good location. Good pool for the kids. The pool view room was nice to let the kids in and out.
Wish I would have gotten a king bed! But it was still a good stay. The breakfast was fantastic for hotel. Staff was friendly and easy to work with
The hotel has very comfortable beds, great amenities including the pool, common area and Duffy’s Bar and a very friendly staff.
It is a little older and some items could be updated. The caulking under the window was crumbling all over the window sill. The bathroom toilets are so low to the ground that can be difficult for tall people. The lighting could be brighter in the rooms.
Near airport
Lobby was tired but rooms were very clean and recently updated
Pool view
Kids not being watched by there parents
Clean
Hidden
We’ve stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites by the Appleton Airport a couple of times now, and overall it’s been a pretty good experience. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and especially great for families with younger kids. The pool area is honestly the highlight — they have a smaller water slide that was absolutely perfect for our three-year-old and kept her entertained for hours. The staff overall was friendly as well.
The biggest downside honestly wasn’t the hotel itself, but some of the other guests. During our last stay, people were smoking directly outside the main entrance despite the no-smoking signs, which was frustrating with a child. Another guest even put out a cigarette on the tire of our vehicle, which definitely wasn’t appreciated. I mentioned it to the front desk, but it didn’t seem to be taken very seriously.
There was also some confusion surrounding the complimentary drinks they mention at check-in. We were told all we needed was our room key, so while we were already at the pool with our daughter, we went down to the bar only to find out IDs were also required. Completely understandable, but it would’ve been helpful to know ahead of time. Then when asking about upgraded drink options, the process became a little confusing regarding what was included, payment methods, and charging to the room. None of it was a huge deal individually, but the whole interaction just felt a bit disorganized and awkward.
Overall though, the hotel itself is still a solid option, especially for families, and the pool alone makes it worth considering.
The tub drained too slowly
