Disappointing, such a shame because the location is great.
Pros:

The bedding was nice fresh and comfy and the location was excellent. But that's all.

Cons:

Too much to mention but I will try. The door to the main bedroom was very difficult to open, in fact at one point my husband thought I had locked it from the inside because he could not open it. Another time if my husband had not been present I would not have been able to get into the room. We mentioned it to reception and whilst they did say they would fix it whilst we were out it there was little improvement. Later the same evening I slipped when coming out of the kitchen due to a large amount of water coming from under the fridge and hit the worktop. I called reception but was told it was too late for maintenance, about 10 minutes later there was a knock and a man arrived with some towels and placed them on the very wet floor, this was not ideal and in fact was a trip hazard. The final straw was expecting guest to take out any rubbish a put down a rubbish shoot. This is totally unacceptable and should not be asked of paying guests. These issues were all mentioned to reception on checkout and we barely received an apology. Sadly this hotel is not a true reflection of the pictures on the website or Booking Com. It needs updating and rooms need to be properly maintained.

We will be back. Great location, lots of room for families and lovely staff.
Pros:

Great location. Lots of room on a split level. Staff were wonderful. Comfy beds.

Cons:

The bathrooms needed a good clean. Microwave sill didn’t work.

A great stay in a central Sydney location & easily accessible. Fantastic amenities & friendly staff
Pros:

The Suites is a significant historical building on the edge of the CBD and a stones throw from Darling Harbour. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, the communal and suite areas were exceptionally clean. The pool and spa pool were well maintained and cleaned. The suite had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. The shower / bath hot. No real noise. The building itself is also amazing with a great history and has been sympathetically restored and repurposed

Cons:

There was no access to the internet in our suite and despite instructions this still didn't work and wasn't remedied during our stay. I think it just needs some additional hot spots to connect too as its an incredibly large building
