Pros:

I stayed at this hotel intending to climb Mt. Bromo. The staff spoke very little English and the receptionist did not stop playing the game on his phone to check me into the hotel. The staff could not help me to book a tour to bromo. The nearby area didn't feel safe and I received more catcalls here than anywhere else in Java despite wearing full length clothing. A Man staying at the hotel who appeared to be friends with the hotel staff kept asking for my whatsapp. I didn't give the man my number or information however, after leaving he added me on facebook. I am unsure how he got my name but I can only assume via the hotel staff.
