Great room, very comfortable and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Location was perfect for what we wanted/needed.
If being picky I would say it could be a little bit cleaner, bit of dust in the bathroom around the shower cubicle and the carpet was a little dirty.
The accomodation is separate to the pub. The rooms are well equipped, well maintained and comfortable.

History of the building which was the pub/restaurant, new build for the accomodation. Food was good, breakfast included and endless coffee. Staff were great,
On arrival the bed linen was dirty, hadn't been changed, and walking between the two buildings in the rain.

Arrived pretty late for our booking, so phoned ahead to advise, and the staff were very accommodating. Rooms are in a separate building (but only yards away), nice and cosy, well kept, clean - and a comfy bed. Good breakfast selection. For an overnight stay, couldn't ask for more.

The room was unbearably hot - there was a fan in the room but that did not remove the heat sufficiently. Not sure whether this was an issue in this room only or others too. No heating was on in the bedroom or bathroom so strange it was so so hot. If it had been a hot summer day and warm night it would have been intolerable.
The hotel was good
We had to forgo breakfast on the Saturday morning as it didn’t start until after we had to leave to get to Brighton.
Made to feel welcome, everything we needed to know was explained. Our room was clean and very comfortable, we slept well. Breakfast was served in the main pub and there was plenty of choice, food was cooked to order and was fresh and delivered hot.
Staff were friendly and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.
