Hotel Eiffel Seine was the ideal place for us to stay for our mother-daughter 4 night stay in Paris. The Metro station is right outside. We used it every day to explore. The Eiffel Tower is right around the corner to view and a 10 minute walk to the entrance. We would go out at 10pm to see it sparkle before getting a late evening drink.
All the reception staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is always someone available to answer any questions. Lily the hotel cat is adorable.
Our room was ideal as it was at the back of the hotel away from the metro line and street bustle, looking down on the pretty hotel patio and across from apartments behind the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay didn’t want to leave after our 4 nights were up!
Location, service,staff are excellent
Nothing
Staff were great. Breakfast was satisfactory.
Hallways and elevator in need of cleaning and painting, not attractive at all.
I had a very frustrating experience with Eiffel Seine Hotel.
I originally booked a room for 2 nights (28th–30th) for 2 adults and 1 child. On the 3rd of the month, our plans changed because a friend was joining us, meaning we would become 3 adults and 1 child. I contacted the hotel to ask whether they could accommodate the additional adult or, if not, move us to a suitable room. They told me there was no availability.
I therefore requested cancellation in the same email and understood the booking to be cancelled. I subsequently made a new booking through Booking.com at another hotel that could accommodate our group.
Then, around the 22nd/23rd, I received an email about hotel services. Unfortunately, I did not properly notice the hotel name and assumed it was related to my new hotel. I ended up ordering flowers costing around €80.
On the 26th, I was surprised to see that Eiffel Seine Hotel had charged my card €315 for the deposit. I immediately contacted them and explained that I had requested cancellation. I also followed their cancellation link to make sure the reservation was cancelled and contacted my bank regarding the charge.
To their credit, the hotel eventually agreed to refund the €315 deposit. However, they refused to refund the approximately €80 charged for the flowers, stating that the order had already been made and could not be cancelled. Initially, I disputed this, but eventually my wife suggested we simply accept the flowers and collect them.
What makes this experience particularly disappointing is the lack of clear communication and the confusion surrounding the cancellation and hotel-service emails. From a customer's perspective, after requesting cancellation and believing the reservation was no longer active, receiving a €315 charge days later is extremely frustrating. The subsequent situation with the flowers only added to an already unpleasant experience.
Overall, this has been a very poor customer-service experience. While I appreciate that the hotel agreed to refund the deposit, the whole process was unnecessarily stressful and confusing. I would strongly recommend that the hotel make its cancellation process and service-related communications much clearer to avoid putting guests in this situation.
Very disappointing experience and, unfortunately, not a hotel I would choose again.
Awesome location. Staff great.
Nothing
Very neat and organized and Igor very helpful
A little bit hard to open the door
Location great!! Across the street from metro; walking distance to Eiffel and Seine River. All staff so nice. Jon Claude at reception is so helpful, and will schedule tours, call taxi, recommend restaurants, etc. We had the patio room #12 (patio is open for all guests, but it felt like our own little patio since our room had direct access, and seemed other guests were not aware of it, as the patio is somewhat hidden). Rooms clean and cozy. No fridge, the only downside.
At night, the surrounding area could get very busy as the hotel is situated on a busy "touristy" street. If you want the full vibe of bustling Paris at night, then this is perfect spot for you. There are restaurants literally out the front door (Subway sandwich shop next door, if craving some American flavor). Loved Lily the cat hanging out in the lobby, really so cute!! Highly recommend Hotel Eiffel Seine
Fabulous location, and a great little hotel with friendly staff, and a resident cat, Lily (cat lover’s bonus!). Delicious breakfast, not to be missed!
The shower was only handheld, with no holder to keep the shower head up.
Friendly and helpful staff. Close to everything, great location and other services available.
Nothing really
Great location. Staff helped me with taxis and were great listening to me.
Posizione, vicinanza a tutto, gentilezza staff
the property is right next to the station which is really nice, as well as the staff being really helpful.
We loved this place! Very clean room. Fair price. Lovely, kind staff (including Lily, the sweet hotel cat). Can't beat the location. In two minutes we could see the Eiffel Tower and within 10 minutes we were standing right by it and our river sightseeing cruise. We definitely recommend this place.
